Chapter 8
“I’m sorry, I’m already taken.”
“As for who doesn’t have anyone, it should probably be her now.”
With a flourish, I waved my divorce certificate around while holding Fawzaan’s
hand, flaunting it in front of them, and paused in front of Hiral.
“Today’s a great day, why don’t you two get it done too?”
“Fine, let’s do it. Who’s afraid?”
Hiral, irritated, grabbed Teon’s hand, ready to go register, but Teon remained motionless.
“Come on, what are you waiting for?” Hiral,

unable to move Teon, looked back anxiously at him.
But Teon’s eyes were fixed on me,
completely ignoring Hiral.
“Lyn, are you serious? Are you really with him?”
Teon looked at our clasped hands, questioning me in disbelief.
“Of course I’m serious. Weren’t you serious when you divorced me?”
I replied playfully to his first question, conveniently ignoring the second, knowing someone else would ask him more questions.
“Teon, what do you mean? Aren’t you serious about our sweetheart?”

“Teon, have you thought about who gave birth to your child?”
“Teon, if you’re serious about Hiral, then go get that marriage certificate now.”
“Teon, …
One by one, they surrounded Teon, insisting he marry Hiral, despite his mother’s attempts to intervene.
With no one bothering me anymore, I happily headed home with my new husband to celebrate.
I later heard that under pressure, Teon finally agreed to marry Hiral that day and was forced to throw a big party in the evening to appease her relatives.

But as the child grew, his mother couldn’t shake the feeling that he didn’t look like Teon. She secretly conducted a paternity test, confirming he wasn’t Teon’s biological son. She immediately demanded Teon divorce Hiral.
But Hiral refused, and her family wasn’t about to back down easily.
It all ended in chaos, everything turned upside down.
As for what happened afterward, I have no idea, because Fawzaan believed I still cared about Teon and tormented me with jealousy.
“Who’s there? Coming” I said after calming Fawzaan, as the doorbell rang.
I opened the door, and there stood Teon, looking even more worn out than before.

“Lyn, I’ve divorced. Do you still want me?”
Teon dropped to his knees, tears streaming down his face as he lamented how hard his life had been, how much he missed me over the years.
He had knelt to beg me three times before; this was the fourth, and I wasn’t about to give in.
“No.”
I slammed the door shut and turned back to embrace Fawzaan.
“I shut it quickly today, no need to be jealous anymore.”
The End.

Book 5: After My Husband Caused My Miscarriage
The unexpected miscarriage left me heartbroken.
Yet, my husband began to speak to me with cold, dismissive words, showing no concern.
I thought he was blaming me for not protecting our baby. After all, it had been a treasure we had longed for and struggled to conceive over the past three years.
But one day, I overheard him saying, “She says she never slept with Myles. Do you believe that? Ha, I don’t. But fortunately, fate was merciful, allowing her to lose the baby on her own.”
His words, sharp and frigid, reached my ears, and in that moment, I realized just how little
