POV Fenrir Dâneşti
I thrust my hand into the wolf’s chest, tearing through skin and muscle, snapping the ribs. The blood spread across my palm, hot, thick, and pungent. I closed my fingers around the heart and pulled my arm, ripping it out.
The howl of pain that escaped him was like music to my ears.
The wolf’s pupils dilated before he fell dead at my feet.
I pressed the organ with force, exploding it into countless pieces. I opened my hand, letting the remains fall.
I scanned the forest, looking for more of them. I sniffed the air, but the strong scent of the wolf’s blood I had just killed was thick around me.
Footsteps sounded on my left, crushing the dry leaves. I turned quickly and saw Andrei walking toward me.

Anton appeared just behind him, dragging a male by his long hair. He came up to me and threw him at my feet.
“He was running,” he said, fixing his bright green eyes on the invading male. His jaw was tight, and his fangs elongated. Every cell of his instinct screamed to Lill the wolf, but his loyalty to me screamed the opposite.
1 crouched in front of the male, who stared at me with wide, fearful eyes. I released pheromones, provoking his fear. He inhaled the scent and began trembling, the color draining from his pale face.
A smile tugged at my lips.
“What’s your name?” I asked, tilting my head to the side.
He was wearing dirty, torn clothes, with scratches on his arms, chest, and legs. Numerous dry leaves were stuck in his long black hair, as well as in his large beard.
Anton had toyed with him before bringing him to me.
A little older than Andrei, Anton was a warrior just as good. He was my most reliable man. He had a logical and precise view of business and the pack’s evolution. And, one day, he would be my successor.
“Max,” he replied, keeping his brown eyes on the ground.
“What are you doing in my territory, Max?”
“I’m just following orders, my lord. Please, let me go “
I hated, with all my might, when they begged for mercy. He was an alpha, I could tell by his scent, and alphas never, absolutely never, begged.
I knew exactly what he wanted. I knew the moment one of my wolves caught fir scent and communicated the new invasion to me.
““Answer the damin question!” | shouted, releasing even more pheromones.
Anton and Andrei took a step back, sensing the irritation emanating from me,

I didn’t know what had happened, why she was acting that way, but she was making me lose my patience.
She treated me with indifference while I had to deal with the damn consequences of her problems, killing the males who were only invading my territory because of her.
“Then why doesn’t your alpha come speak to me personally and take her back? I inquired, smiling with mockery.
“Alpha Hunter just wants prace, he responded, lowering his head, submitting. “And the girl. Give us the girl, and we promise never to step foot on your territory again ”

He opened his mouth, breathing heavily
“She’s Alpha Hunters,” he whispered, the only thread of voice still passing through his crushed throat.
I roared, squeezing my hand with such force that the bones in his neck snapped with a dry, sharp crack, echoing through the treetops like the melody of death. The broken bones twisted, tearing through the skin as the throat was crushed. More blood spurted, staining me. The body softened in my hand. I dropped it, letting it join the one from his companion.
I stood up, my hands covered in blood, my chest rising and falling in heavy breaths. I stared at the two bodies, feeling my irritation rise to drastic levels. The paleness of death was already spreading through their skin.
I walked over to them, placed my foot on one’s neck, and crouched, pulling the body to the other side, I found some difficulty due to the bones, I put more strength into it, separating the head from the rest of the torso. Blood flowed like a waterfall, staining the leaves on the ground, creating a small red puddle, The smell of rust embraced me. I liked it, liked how it stung my nose. It reeked of death. The death of my enemies. And that was… fun and pleasurable.
I went to the second wolf and repeated the movement, beheading him too. I grabbed both heads by the hair and walked toward my house.
“What are you going to do?” Anton asked, confused and shocked.
I didn’t stop to answer him, s
continuing on my way.
“Buried the bodies,” I ordered, raising my face to watch the full moon rising in the sky. “I have a lesson to teach a little wolf. No one ignores me. No one.”
After I taught the little wolf a lesson, I would figure out how to kill the damn alpha who swore he had enough strength to challenge me, sending his damn wolves into my territory. He would be wiped off the face of the Earth.
