I sat there waiting. There had to be a logical explanation for how the two of us had ended up naked in my bed. No way in hell had we magically fallen asleep in the office, but awoke in my bedroom. This is proven a moment later when slowly rewinding. I then played the video in slow motion. Pausing it at the exact moment, I saw the glare in the corner of the screen, that was a pair of shoes. Zooming in on the brief flash I saw in the comer, I stared at the shoes that were visible on the screen. All the evidence that I needed was that sonrone else was inside my office the night she came. Though the image was too distorted to make out much of what I saw, it confirmed my belief. Clearly, somebody had set the two of us up, transporting us to the bed, though I couldn’t begin to understand why. What game was this traitor playing?
I sent the clip to my tech. Confident in a matter of time Gordon would be able to clear the image and Ed find out who was behind this. As soon as I dad I’d get down the bottom of the mystery and know what ploy they were up to.
