The chair Marrel was sitting on was pushed to the ground as he jumped up to assess the sination. His body tensed like he was expecting someone to jump him
He relaxed when he saw Millicent, he rolled his eyes and arranged his chair back before plopping down on it.
“Oh. Marcel. You should at least hide the contempt on your fire.”

Millicent has always been the dramatic kind and I know she was just looking for a reaction out of me.
I wasn’t in the mood for her nonsense.
“If I wanted to see your face, I would have asked you in come. Get to the fucking point,” I snapped.
Her face fell and she pouted, tears gathered and her lips trembled
“I told you not to bring her but you just wanted revenge. That girl, she is just as vicious as her father. She attacked me, she cried.
My hackles rose at the mention of my mate. I narrowed my eyes a Millicent who was still sobbing, I could see the scratch marks on her face.
She valued her face a lot and it must have hurt her deeply that there were a lot of holes in the story, but not ones I was willing to investigate,
“I am sorry to hear that. Go see the pack doctor and get yourself checked out,”
“Are you not going to get ber?” she squinted her cycl

Millicent tensed but just the slightest, I noticed it too but she stated shaking. I looked at Marcel who was still throwing her questioning looks.
“What were you doing she she attacked you anyway! I believe she was locked in the room?” he asked.
She shrugged. ‘I don’t know, I was just makings call when I felt someone sneak up behind me Aragon, I was so scared that she was going to kill me. The look in her eyes was scary…”

A grow left my lips at her declaration surprising the three of us. Marcel was wide–eyed while Millicent was looking at me in disbelief before i morphed into suspicions.

“Alpha, that is not fair. I did nothing wrong to her. I don’t even know her so why would she attack me!”
“Everybody wants to attack you, it’s nothing new here.” Marcel said
They glared at each other and I rubbed my temple. They have always been at each other’s throats. Marcelis vocal about his dislike of the fact that dudn’t want to wait for my mute before I engaged Millicent. He thinks she is just with me for the power and the Luna tide but all that didn’t matter, not until I met her

The corner of my lips curved a little at the thought of her, her name sulled her. Strong, refined and a sight to behold. Despite her situation, the was not scared just resigned that this was her life now. It made me wonder if Marcel was right all along. Has she been suffering and I have been too blind toire Marcel drared his throat and I went back to being stoic.
Millicent was none the wiser.
