Aragon POV.
I sat in my office at the pack house, phone in hand, as I dialed Marcel’s number. He answered on the first ring.
“Hey, man, Marcel said, his voice familiar and friendly, instantly making me feel more at case.
“Hey,” I replied, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I had been worried about Victor’s plans for the Council, and I knew that Marcel would be able to help me figure out what to do.
“What’s going on?” Marcel asked, his tone serious, and I could sense a hint of concern in his voice, I knew that he was already aware of the gravity of
the situation.
“I’ve been thinking about what Victor said,” I said, my mind racing with thoughts and emotions. I was still trying to process everything that had happened, and I knew that I needed Marcel’s insight to help me make sense of it all.
“About his plans for the Council. I don’t know what to do, Marcel. I don’t want to go against the Council, but I also don’t want to let Victor get away with whatever it is he’s planning.”
Marcel’s voice was thoughtful, and I could almost hear him nodding on the other end of the line. “I’ve been thinking about it too, Aragon,” he said. *And I think we need to come up with a plan to stop him. But we need to be careful. Victor is a dangerous man, and he’s not afraid to use any means necessary to get what he wants.”
“I know,” I said, feeling a chill run down my spine. “He’s already shown us that. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to get his way, even if it means hurting others.”
“Exactly,” Marcel said. “We need to be prepared for anything. We need to gather as much information as we can about his plans and find a way to expose him. We need to make sure that the Council knows what he’s really up to.”
“I agree,” I said, feeling a surge of determination. “We can’t let him get away with this. We need to stop him before it’s too late.”
“Good,” Marcel said. “Let’s start by figuring out what he’s planning. Do you have any leads?”
I felt a surge of determination at Marcel’s words. I knew that we couldn’t let Victor get away with his plans, not without a fight. I was ready to do whatever it took to protect the people and the place that I cared about.
“I agree,” I said. “But we need to be careful. Victor is powerful, and he won’t go down without a fight.”
Marcel’s tone was confident. “Don’t worry, Aragon,” he said. “We’ll figure something out. We just need to be smart about it.”

“I’ve been thinking,” Marcel said. “Maybe we can use Victor’s plans against him. Maybe we can make him think that we’re going along with what he wants, while secretly working to undermine him. We could gather evidence, plant seeds of doubt in the minds of others, and expose his true
intentions.”
I felt a surge of excitement at Marcel’s words. It was a bold plan, but it just might work. I could see the potential for it to pay off, and I knew that we had to try.
“It’s a risk,” I admitted, “but it might be our only chance. We need to be careful, though. We c
can’t let him know what we’re up to.”
“Of course,” Marcel said. “We’ll have to be subtle. We’ll need to play it cool and make sure that Victor never suspects a thing. But if we can pull it off, it could be the perfect way to stop him.”
“Alright,” I said, feeling a surge of adrenaline. “Let’s do it. Let’s show Victor that we’re not going to let him win.”
“That’s not a bad idea,” I said, my mind racing with possibilities. “But we’ll need to be careful. Victor is cunning, and he’ll be expecting us to try something. He’s probably already anticipating our every move.”
Marcel’s tone was confident. “Don’t worry, Aragon,” he said. “We’ll be careful. We’ll come up with a plan, and we’ll make sure that it’s foolproof. We’ll need to be unpredictable, throw him off his game.”
I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Marcel. I knew that I could count on him, no matter what. He was a true friend, and I was lucky to have him by my side. I glanced around the dimly lit room, the shadows playing tricks on my eyes, reminding me of the urgency of our situation.
“Thanks, Marcel,” I said. “Just talking to you makes me feel better. It’s good to have someone to bounce ideas off of, someone who understands the gravity of this.”
Marcel’s voice was warm, and I could hear the smile in his tone. “Anytime, Aragon,” he said. “That’s what friends are for. We’re in this together, Let’s break down Victor’s strategy. What are his strengths? What are his weaknesses?”
We talked for a few more minutes, brainstorming ideas and making plans. I felt grateful to have Marcel by my side, and I knew that together, we could stop Victor and keep the Council safe. We discussed various strategies, weighing the pros and cons of each. Should we confront him directly. or take a more subtle approach?
Should we try to expose his plans to the Council, or try to stop him before he can act? Each option carried its risks and rewards.
As we wrapped up our conversation, I felt a sense of hope that I hadn’t felt in a long time. I knew that we still had a long way to go, but with Marcel’s help, I felt like we could overcome anything.

“Let’s do this,” I said. “We’ll need to be ready for anything. Victor won’t go down without a fight.”
Marcel’s tone was confident. “We will, Aragon. We’ll stop Victor, and we’ll keep the Council safe.”
I smiled, feeling a sense of determination. I knew that we would face challenges along the way, but I was ready. I was ready to fight, to do whatever it took to protect the people and the place that I cared about.
