Chapter 15 You Gonna Take Them Off Yourself, or Should I Help?
Michael had her locked in his arms,
It seemed like this was the only way to make up for his frustration roughout the night.
Elizabeth frowned, trying to wriggle free.
But Michael still wouldn’t let her go. Answer me.
Elizabeth couldn’t match his strength, and she snapped. “Michael, what the hell are you talking about?”
She’d never dared to raise her voice at him before,
Her struggle had her squirming in his grip..
His Adam’s apple bobbed, and the next second, he pinned her down,
“Stop moving.” he growled, voice rough
Elizabeth froze, sobbing quietly.
Michael hugged her tighter, his cool nose brushing her neck.
The touch sent shivers down her spine.
Her skin was soft, with a warm, milky scent.
Michael found no trace of alcohol on her.
Elizabeth was too scared to move. His nose against her neck felt ticklish, like he was teasing her.
She leaned into him, barely breathing-
Luckily, he started to calm down.
His grip on her wrist loosened.
She quickly pulled her wrist free.
Just as she was about to get up, Michael yanked her back down, and he landed in his lap.
Elizabeth yelped in surprise.
When would this end?
Sitting on his lap, she knew his legs were still numb. She took advantage of his distraction, reached under his inner thigh hard just to vent her anger.

Hod hurt her wrist.
Couldn’t she get a little payback?
Thinking of this, Elizabeth felt a burst of satisfaction.

Michael thed his face from R neck, his deep eyes onreadable.
“Your clothes smell like another man’s booze. You gonna take them yourself, or should I help? His voice was rough.
Elizabeth was stunned.
Was that why he was mad?
Her clothes smelled like another man’s booze?
She lifted a corner of her dress and sniffed it and found it true.
Did he just say he wanted her to strip in front of him?
Elizabeth realized that and shoved his chest in anger to get away-
He tightened his grip even more.
In the struggle, there was a sharp tearing sound.
Elizabeth
stared in disbelief at her torn dress, eyes wide.
She was livid, took a step back, and pointed a trembling finger at Michael, “Michael, you lunatic!”
Michael ignored her meltdown.
He pushed her onto the nearby couch, coldly glancing at her exposed shoulder and back, his tone icy. “Remember who you are now, Mrs. Thomas!”
Elizabeth clutched her tom high–end dress, tears welling up.
She just wanted a divorce, to get away from this devil.
This morning, he’d kindly given her a shirt to k
keep warm.
She thought he’d changed.
However, She
e was so foolish.
Michael was always so rude and unpredictable!
He didn’t care about anyone else’s feelings!
He didn’t even see others as human!
In front of him, she really was, as he said, like a stray dog of the Thomas Fantily, with no dignity at all.
Elizabeth had never longed for freedom as much as she did at this moment.
Tonight’s social event and the dress were all arranged by Charles.
Those two bank managers did want to make her drink,
She couldn’t refuse, so she simply left the hotel, which offended them

Anyway, it was clear they had no intention of giving her a loan.
They just wanted to take advantage of her.
She was pregnant now, so of course, she couldn’t drink, let alone drink with them. She was still the daughter of the Jones Group, not someone who would stoop so low.
She brushed her messy hair aside, stood up from the couch, and accused, “Michael, who wants to be your wife! You are so annoying!
She cried
she returned to her room, slamming the door shut behind her.
For a moment, Michael’s usually cold face showed a hint of confusion.
Did he just scare her?
Maybe she really didn’t do anything.
He had just lost control of his emotions.
He had waited for her all afternoon, thinking she would come to him
But she didn’t.
He had made up a lot of excuses for her in his mind.
However, not only did
she not c
come him, but she went to meet with other old men.
His accumulated anger exploded.
Even if she didn’t say she hated him, he knew that in her heart, he was more terrifying than the devil.
The phone rang-
The caller ID showed it was Daniel.
He answered, and Daniel’s voice was a bit urgent, “Mr. Thomas, did Mrs. Thomas get home safely? Mr. Anderson and I went out for drink and happened to run into Mrs. Thomas. She had a falling out with those two bank managers and left without dining. We tried to follow her, but we lost her.”
Michael’s expression changed several times.
Even if she didn’t drink with those two men, in his mind, going to the meeting was already wrong.
Not to mention she wore that revealing dress to the meeting.
That was a huge mistake.
Michael clenched his phone in anger, completely ignoring the sudden inexplicable emotions in his heart.
It was such a new kind of emotion of his towards a woman, which was driving him crazy and set him on
Susan came to bring Elizabeth some food.
Elizabeth opened the door.
rs Thomas, Mr. Thomas asked me to send it. You should eat it while it’s hot. Susan placed the pasta on the table.

Elizabeth had just finished het bath, changed into loungewear, and ons sitting on the couch drying her hair.
She stared at the dress that Michael had torn apart.
That bastard Michael had treated her like this tonight. Did he think ending some pasta would make her forgive him?
She wasn’t that easygoing.
“What does he mean by this?” she asked.
“I guess Mr. Thomas might be a bit regretful. I saw him sitting outside quietly for a long time, looking upset.” Susan picked up the red dress, “Should I take this dress to be mended?”
Elizabeth stopped her, “No need to mend it. This dress is borrowed. Just take the tag to him. I can’t afford to pay for it.”
Susan nodded and said, “Alright, you can eat the pasta and get rest. Tomorrow, Mrs. Mary Thomas is being discharged, and Mr. Thomas will probably take you to the old mansion.”
Master bedroom.
Michael sat on the edge of the bed, lifting the hem of his robe to reveal a noticeable bruise on his inner thigh.
This was from Elizabeth’s pinch tonight.
His leg wasn’t completely numb.
When she pinched him, he felt the pain.
But he endured it, not making a sound, and didn’t blame her for it.
For some reason, Elizabeth’s tear–streaked face kept appearing in his mind,
Her unique scent lingered in his fingers.
Michael raised his hand to his nose and sniffed.
There was still a faint scent from her wrist.
Michael found his behavior strange. Why was it so hard to explain?
What was wrong with him?
Why was he having these feelings for Elizabeth?
Wasn’t he always indifferent to women?
