Aidan clutched his mouth, pointing at Lucas with fury.
“She’s just a woman, man! Why are you freaking out? You were the one who said you didn’t even like her–remember that? You told Emily, plain as day, that you were only trying to get leverage on her. That’s why you had us sleep with her in the first place. And now the Pup’s gone and you’re suddenly acting like some heartbroken hero? What–scared she’s coming for you?”
“Shut the fuck up!”
Lucas lost it. Snapping, he tackled Aidan to the ground and started pounding him with punch after punch like a man possessed.

“Lucas, stop it!”
Emily screamed, terrified it was going too far. She rushed forward to pull him off, but Lucas shoved her away violently.
She stumbled, landing hard in a pool of blood. Her dress soaked through instantly, and she shrieked, scrambling to her feet.
“What the fuck is this?! That’s disgusting!”
Lucas turned at the sound of her voice, eyes narrowing into something cold. Something cruel.
Just then, his assistant burst into the room, out of breath and wide–eyed.
“Mr. Lucas–it’s bad. A video of you and Miss Emily just hit the internet. It’s gone viral.
Lucas Corp’s stock is tanking.”

There it was–clear as day. Him and Emily dragging Selene like a damn dog and taking photos of it. The comments section was already in chaos:

He stormed into the maternity ward, barely stopping to breathe.
“Selene! I’m here!”
