Chapter 2 Finally Found You

Six years later. An City.
It was April. Sakura bloomed and could be seen everywhere on the street. The fallen petals seemed as if they were dancing under the guidance of the breeze as they made their way along the streets. It seemed like paradise on earth.
The latest financial news could be seen playing on the large screen on the commercial plaza beside.
Xia An, the heir of Four Seasons Group was in the middle of an interview session.
A slim lady was standing in front of the screen and had her eyes locked on the big screen. She took off her shades and tossed her hair. A dainty and gorgeous face could be seen as she squinted at the screen.
On the screen, a reporter asked Xia An a question.
“Young master Xia, the Four Seasons Group’s East City branch got into a financial dispute recently. The other party has already made another appeal after they were dismissed by the court in their first appeal. How confident is Four Seasons Group in the upcoming court session?”
Xia An answered confidently, “The Four Seasons Group has never gone against the law. We are confident that we will make it through the second appeal as well.”
The woman in front of the screen sneered when she saw how confident Xia An was. Then, she reached out for her phone from her bag.
She made a call, “Hello? Good day, President Feng. My name is Angel and Make told me about you previously. I’m free today. I guess I’ll see you later.”
The girl hung up the call and focused on the screen again. Complicated emotions could be seen in her eyes as if a storm was brewing.
Mu Zhisheng. No… Her name had since been changed to Ji Zhisheng. Ji Zhisheng was back!
She grinned as if she had a plan in her mind. Ji Zhisheng put on her shades before she turned around and left the commercial plaza.
Ji Zhisheng saw an MPV car parked behind a mall nearby after she left the commercial plaza. The door was wide open and two people could be seen waiting by the car anxiously. They were keeping an eye out on the surroundings cautiously.
Ordinary people would ignore and walk past them when they saw them.
But Ji Zhisheng had an occupational habit. She checked them out and noticed that they were up to no good.
She turned around and pretended as if she was searching for something in her bag as she stood aside.
After a while, an old woman who lost consciousness was carried out of the hotel’s back entrance by two men. They made their way to the MPV car right away.
The person standing by the MPV car rushed them, “Hurry up!”
A black figure could be seen rushing over before the old woman was carried into the MPV car. The two people standing by the car and the driver were knocked out by the figure.
The two guys left the old woman behind immediately. They tried to attack Ji Zhisheng the moment they saw how she managed to knock out their partners.
Ji Zhisheng managed to avoid him and kicked him in the head in return. The guy passed out immediately, but the other guy rushed towards her again. However, Ji Zhisheng was relatively calm. She grabbed the guy’s fist and threw him over her shoulder. That guy couldn’t even stand on his feet anymore.
Ji Zhisheng’s hair was in a mess after she knocked both of them out.
She walked over to the old woman’s side and helped her up. The old woman had already regained her consciousness by then.
“Grandma, are you okay?” Ji Zhisheng asked gently.
Ji Zhisheng was cold towards the others throughout the years, but she would always treat old women politely and gently.
The old woman blinked her eyes and leaped into Ji Zhisheng’s arms.
“Le Le!”
Ji Zhisheng was shocked the moment she heard what the old woman had said, because Le Le was her nickname. How did she know my nickname?
The old woman held Ji Zhisheng in her arms firmly and mumbled to herself.
“My beloved granddaughter. Grandma finally found you.”
Ji Zhisheng was speechless.
What’s going on?
The five people on the ground were about to run away after they had returned to their senses. Ji Zhisheng had a serious look on her face all of a sudden. She wanted to move away from the old woman, but the old woman was holding on to her with all her might. It was as if she was afraid Ji Zhisheng would run away.
Ten bodyguards rushed over and surrounded the five people before they could run away.
Their leader stood behind the old woman. He was sweating profusely and asked anxiously, “Madam, are you okay?”
He knew that if anything were to happen to the old woman, they would be in huge trouble.
Ji Zhisheng let out a sigh of relief. It seemed like the bodyguards were on the old woman’s side. She wouldn’t have to take care of the kidnappers.
After a while, Ji Zhisheng tried to move away from the old woman, “Grandma, your bodyguards are here for you.”
However, the old woman was reluctant to move away. She held her tightly in her arms.
Ji Zhisheng was about to struggle away from the old woman’s grasp again, but she could feel that something was wrong with the old woman. She lowered her head and realized the old woman had passed out.
“Grandma, what’s wrong?” Ji Zhisheng helped her up, but she accidentally stepped on some rocks, causing her to stagger and fall.
Ji Zhisheng managed to protect the old woman from getting hurt in the nick of time, but her head hit the boulder behind.
All of a sudden, Ji Zhisheng blacked out and passed out.

By the time Ji Zhisheng woke up, she was in an unfamiliar place. She could see a chandelier dangling above her.
As she was about to sit up, a sharp pain shot up her neck, and Ji Zhisheng groaned out of pain.
She touched her neck and tried to sit up slowly to avoid the pain. Ji Zhisheng surveyed her surroundings and realized that she was in a spacious room. The room was well decorated as well.
Where am I? Why am I here?
She could only remember how she saved an old woman before passing out.
Perhaps… This is the old woman’s house?
Ji Zhisheng tried to figure out where she was. Most probably the old woman’s bodyguards brought me back after I passed out because of her, right?
Ji Zhisheng was pretty observant. She saw her pouch and shades placed on the nightstand.
She removed the blanket, put on her shoes, took her pouch and shades before she made her way to the door.
Coincidentally, a maid passed by the moment she opened the door.
Ji Zhisheng smiled and looked at the maid.
“Hello, may I know where’s the exit?”
Ji Zhisheng had an intimidating smile on her face. The maid was confused for a moment before she returned to her senses.
The maid turned around and pointed at the exit.
“Just walk along the corridor. Turn right after you turn left at the first exit. You will see the stairs after that.”
Ji Zhisheng smiled and nodded.
“Thank you. Please tell your madam that I’ll be on my way.”
“Alright.”
Ji Zhisheng called for a cab and passed by a black Rolls-Royce the moment she left Yan Mansion.

At the same time, inside Yan Mansion.
A tall figure entered the mansion. He was welcomed by the butler, Yang Shu.
“Young master!” Yang Shu took over the blazer that Yan Qianmo handed over to him.
“Where’s grandma?” Yan Qianmo asked coldly.
“She’s resting in her bedroom upstairs.”
Yan Qianmo walked up the stairs immediately. He reached the top within several steps because of his long legs. Yang Shu hurried behind and followed Yan Qianmo.
“What is grandma’s situation?”
“She has been unconscious ever since she was back.”
Yan Qianmo and Yang Shu saw how the maids were rushing over anxiously the moment they made it upstairs.
“Young master.”
“What’s wrong?”
“Young master, Madam Yan woke up, but she insists on looking for Ms. Le Le.”
