Chapter 190
STAR: I couldn’t help myself, when I see the princes and Trever is with them, I head straight for their table. “Good morning, is it alright if we join you this morning? I have something that I believe that Trever might like to see.” I say to them. They all nod in agreement. So, we pull up another table so that we can all fit. I look around and I don’t see Jessie or her to cronies, so I pull out my phone and unlock it and hand it to prince Trever. “Just hit the play button.” I whisper. He dose and I sit back and watch his face, scanning the marquee ever so often so as not to get caught by Jessie or her wanna–be possie. He just about choked on his laugh to keep it in. We all just smiled when we saw his reaction to what happened.
CAMRON: I noticed that the Cold Moon Alpha’s and their mate were seated with the princes this morning, probably discussing what happened last night with Jessie. I spot Josh and his mate sitting towards the front of the marquee, but more towards the corner, I head in their direction. “Mind if we join you this morning. It will save us time later.” “Of course, please.” He says and waves his hand to the extra chairs. “Seems Jessie has made herself the talk of the marquee this morning.” Josh says. “Indeed, she has always wanted to be like Amanda Sutter, I think she got her wish, just not in the way she would have liked.” I said. “Did you actually see what happened at Adrian’s ceremony?” He asked me. “No, I can’t say that I did, I just know what transpired between Keska and 1.” I tell him. “I remember that call well.” He says, and smiles. I smile in return. “I will be back; I am going to get us some food.” I say and get up to get in the food line. I get two plates and fill them with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, and fruit. I head back to the table and hand one plate to my mate and retake my seat. “Have your people been able to get their testing done?” I asked him. “As a matter of fact, they have, and they believe that there is a lot that we could use your product for, other than just computer components.” “Like what? I knew that it would be good for the computer chips.” “Most definitely, but we also think that it will be better in hospital monitoring equipment, it will hold up better, and last longer.” “I never thought about going into the medical aspect with it.” “You should, it will make you even more money.” “Can you handle the medical aspect as well as the computer chips?” “Yes, we can. We have a few contracts already in place with some of the human hospitals, so it won’t be hard to get a demonstration in for them.” Josh says. I nod.
JAMES: I usher Janica into the marquee and look around to see who all is here. I see Star with her mates, sitting with the princes and their mates, minus Kes, and Mackie. I see Josh and Camron sitting in a front corner, looking like they are discussing some business. I then see my mate’s brother sitting with his mate, and I motion towards him to Janica. She heads in his direction. “Hey big brother.” She says. “May we join you?” “Sure, I haven’t had a chance to introduce you to my mate yet, you have been too busy with your own to pay too much attention to anyone else.” Colton says good naturedly. “Hello Colton.” I say holding out my hand to shake his. “James.” He shakes my hand. “James, Janica this is Krystal, she is alpha born from Dark Forest Pack. Krystal, this is my sister and her mate, birthday boy James.” He introduces us with a wry chuckle. “Nice to finally get to meet you, Colton has told me a few stories about his sister.” “All good things I hope?” “Yes.” “It also seems we have something in common, James, that was my brother last night with your sister. Sorry for the show, but he has been fighting with Atlas since we got here, trying to keep him in check.” “Hey, no harm no foul.” I tell her. “Well, some here don’t seem to think the same way.” She says looking around the marquee at the whispering. “People will be people, they need something to gossip about, I’m just sorry it happens to be your brother, my sister likes to be the center of attention.” I tell her. She just nods. “If she is not careful, my brother will use it against her.” She says. “Well then that will teach her.” I say with a chuckle. Again, she nods. And I know that both Colton and Janica catch the underlying meaning of my words. I was not going to state what we knew out loud and possibly get Jessie rejected, considering she is Jessie’s mate’s sister.
