DRAKE: I can’t say it was a war, per say.” “And what’s this, for?” he waves at the moving van. “Dad, come to my office, there are things I need to tell you.” “Ok son.” I lead the way into the house, leaving Lilly to deal with the Movers. We walk over to the elevator and head up to my office. “There is more fall out to mother’s death than what just happened at the twin’s graduation and the birthday/ball.” I say as we both take a seat on the couch in my office. “What is that?” “Starting with Adrian’s ceremony when mother rejected Kes, and she dug her claws into Kes’s arm.” “I didn’t know she did that.” “Yes, I guess it happened just before we left to come home. Mother accused her of stealing food, and dug her claws into her upper arm. Adrian and Kina did what the could to help her. But she will be scared for the rest of her life, and mother did it again at the graduation. Then the next week in school Jessie rejected her, Kes heard it and accepted it.” “Oh shit.” I nodded. “You can say that again, that caused a whole different kind of mess with Jessie, and before I had all the facts, I gave Kes a punishment that she shouldn’t have had, and during that punishment, Kes was stabbed.” “Why am I just hearing of this now?” “Because I know I screwed up, and I am ashamed of it.” “Well, you should be.” “I know. But with everything that happened to Kes, she shifted early, she has her wolf. But with that, she is a hybrid. She has some of Rickard’s abilities, and she has killed a couple of pack members, but they had it coming, they were the ones that stabbed her. But she got involved with the battel and the Pack seen what she could do, and they say she is a danger.” “What! And you let them?” “What can I do Dad? Her bite is deadly, Ice statues, and ash piles, and then there’s the poison. I can’t force them to except that she won’t hurt them, they want her to get training.” “And where is she going to go to get it? She is the only one of her kind as far as I know.” “Lilly thinks that Rickard’s people will be able to help train her, so she is going to Canada where they are located.” I tell him. “Well let’s just hope they can train her.” I nod my head.

MITCHELL: I get the SUVs that we found at the motel that the Prince and Dutch told us about, and get them gassed up and pulled up in front of the barracks. “Ok, I have the SUVs ready for you.” I tell the woman that had spoke to the Alpha. “Thank you.” She had her small group ready to go. I hand her the keys to all of the SUVs and a card to use for gas and food to get them to Canada.
LILLY: I guess Emory was right after all. I have to call him again. “Emory, you were right, sort of, we will have 4 SUVS full of people that will be coming with us, but they are not our pack members, it’s too long of a story to get into over the phone right now, but just know that we will have a small convoy coming.” “I will make sure that there is an area set up for them. I take it they are all wolves?” “Yes I believe they are.” “Ok, when are you going to be leaving?” Probably with in the hour.” “Ok, I will make sure we are ready for everyone, and Lilly don’t doubt me, I have been through enough of these thing to know better:” “Yes Emory.”

I love how we wait and then BAM we get yet another great update. I love how the pack isn’t willing to accept her, but the strangers are.
