Perry goes back to her computer and the only sound filling the warehouse is her annoying personalized clicky keyboard. It‘ s fucking purple and it has a rainbow effect every time she presses the space bar.
“How is home?” I ask Violetta needing something else to make noise.

My quess is that my mother told him what we were doing and he intercepted when Ruin made himself known,”
“Good,” Perry scoffs

“He’s your father, Knight None of us have a good relationship with our dads. But when the time comes they always show up for us. Even mine” she shrugs and the clicking stops. “I think we’re old enough to understand that maybe we could use the fucked up shit they’ve been through to our advantage. We’re making the same mistakes,”

I get up taking the lens container and go over to the makeshift sink to put them on. My wolf hates the way it feels and he immediately tries to overwhelm me. I grab hold of the edge of the plastic to steady myself.
My heart nearly jumps out of my chest when I look up in the mirror to see Perry standing behind me. I spin around only for her hand to shoot out to grab me around the throat. Her eyes begin to turn black and the iris glow purple.
“You’re not going to give him any fucking trouble tonight, Buddy,” she growls looking me dead in the eye. My wolf struggles against the order but ultimately gives in. He stops struggling and she finally releases me. “Do what I ask and I’ll help you with your mate,” she adds. “Good boys get rewards. You’ll be a good boy for your Queen, yes?”
He lets out a low rumble and releases the tight hold he had on me. I take a deep breath and look up at her. She steps back and nods.
“Thanks, he’s given me full control. She’s gotten a lot stronger since we last spoke in person.
“It’ll only get us so far. Crystal learned to get around Jonas’s orders. She learned to hate him for it. But the moments he forced her down it cleared my head. It feels disgusting coming out of my mouth because I hate what Arnold did to you, but
maybe let him keep training you. I may not like Lycan authority, but I finally feel like I’m where I’m meant to be,”
