Chapter 25 Blood for Blood
Several men roughly dragged them out.
It was over.
Everything was over.
Mr. Hyde would rather kill himself than fall into Samuel’s hands.
If he was caught, what awaited him would be a fate worse than death.
He was just about to pull the trigger on himself.
But it was too late.
The next second, someone snapped his wrist, breaking the bones with a sickening crunch.
Then dozens of men in matching uniforms, armed with long guns, appeared before his eyes – clearly private soldiers.
Who else could it be but Samuel?
Sure enough, a moment later, the men parted to clear a path, and a middle–aged man in a suit came striding toward them. The sharp sound of leather shoes striking the ground echoed in the air, each step slicing through Mr. Hyde’s heart like a blade.
He’s here. It has to be him.
Terror gripped him. Even someone as used to life–and–death situations as Mr. Hyde couldn’t control the fear flooding his
chest.
He knew too well what Samuel was capable of.
Samuel stood above him, looking down at the man pinned to the ground, then stepped forward and stomped his face into the dirt.
“Hyde, I finally found you.”
This moment had been ten years in the making – countless nights of endless anguish. Every time Samuel thought of his wife and daughter’s broken bodies, the pain was unbearable.
Once, Hyde and Samuel had been part of the same gang. Later, Samuel had joined a rival one.
The two gangs had always been at odds.
Still, Samuel believed he had never done anything to deserve such betrayal.
“Sir, I was wrong!” Hyde cried out in pain and begged for mercy.
Meanwhile, in the dark underground prison of a villa on the outskirts-
Holly lay slumped on the ground, hands tied, looking disheveled and battered. She had woken up to find herself trapped in this place.
At first, she thought the old man had sent people to punish her.
But then she realized that was impossible the old man still needed her to bear him a son. He wouldn’t have done this.
Across from her sat a young girl, a fresh–faced teenager with eyes far too cold and heavy for her age, staring directly at her.
“Who are you? What do you want with me? Let me go, or you’re going to regret it!” Holly shouted, furious.
Facing a little girl, she wasn’t afraid – only enraged.

Just last night, the old man had beaten her badly. She hadmit even recovered yet, and now a little brat was messing with her.
Windy slowly walked toward her, one step at a tine..
Without a word, she kicked her hard.
Holly toppled over, ready to curse, but before she could, a foot stummed down onto her face, grinding cruelly against her
skin.
She cried out in pain.
Don’t hit the face! Just last month, she had spent a fortune getting work dune omitt…
Now she was truly afraid. This little girl must have a grudge against her!!
Could she be the old man’s new lover?
Impossible!
Before she could figure it out, the girl spoke.
“Holly, long time no see.”
Holly’s heart dropped.
Long time no see? She’s got the wrong person!
She forced a few words out through gritted teeth. “You… you’ve got the wrong person… I don’t know you!”
Windy lifted her foot off Holly’s face, grabbed her by the collar, and started beating her without mercy–all the while speaking in a calm, almost detached voice.
“Don’t know me? Hmph. Between us stands a sea of blood.”
When Windy was finally done, Holly lay on the ground, her face swollen and bruised beyond recognition.
Wintou going her a moment to breathe, Windy pulled out a knife.
In one swift, brutal hove, she stabbed it deep into Holly’s thigh.
“This is where you broke my leg back then.”
Holly’s scream echoed through the underground chamber. The soundproofing here was excellent. No matter how linud she screamed, no one quide could hear.
Next, Windy drove the bilude straight through Holly’s palm.
“And this is where you sumered my hand.”
More screams filled the aur kelly, rerribling, stared in horror at the girl before her.
She wanted to ask.
Why?
Why are you doing this to me
I don’t even know you. I never did these things. When did I ever break your hand or your leg?
But the pain was so overwhelming due me words could come on.

“You want answers? Go ask them in hell.”
With that, she raised the knife high and plunged it into Holly’s heart.
Blood gushed from the wound, staining the blade red.
Holly’s eyes widened in shock, a thousand questions frozen in them as death claimed her.
Windy rose to her feet, calmly pulling out a handkerchief to wipe the blood from her hands.
The door to the underground chamber creaked open.
A bodyguard peeked inside, took one look at the scene, and shuddered when he saw how calm the girl remained.
She had just killed someone without blinking.
“Ms. Sue, Mr. Samuel says he’ll take care of the aftermath. You don’t need to worry,” the bodyguard said.
Windy nodded slightly. “Thank you.”
This was the first enemy she had personally taken revenge on since her rebirth.
And it felt absolutely exhilarating.
Mr. Samuel’s steward arranged for a car to take her away.
She didn’t return to the Sue family.
Instead, she went to the mall.
Her clothes were ruined.
This would be her first time shopping since her rebirth – and she was in a surprisingly good mood.
