Becca’s POV
A strapless mini–dress was all I needed to get my day started. I freshened up, throwing on a white mini–dress that hugged my curves perfectly, my pointed nipples teasingly visible through the fabric,

I stood in front of the mirror, running a quick mental checklist. A bold swipe of red lipstick accentuated my full lips, and I slipped on a tight necklace-an exact replica of the one Asher gifted me back when we were in college. The right amount of exposed cleavage completed the look. and I added a seductive smile for good measure
“I guess we’re good,” I said, cutting an eye at my reflection. With a confident strut, I sashayed toward King Asher’s office, my heels clicking rhythmically on the polished floor, the dress hugging my curves in all the right places.
“I’m sorry, ma’am,
his majesty is busy” said the guard stationed at the entrance of his office, his tone police but firm.
“Not too busy to see me.” I retorted, pushing the door open without hesitation. I knew they wouldn’t dare to stop me.
Asher looked up from the papers strewn across his desk, surprise flickering across his face for just a moment. “Your majesty, we—” the guard began, but with a casual wave of his hand, he dismissed the guards, leaving just his Bets, Alan, and us,
Alan’s eyes darted between us, seeking confirmation from Asher. With a nod from him, Alan quietly slipped out, leaving us alone.
“What are you doing here?” Asher asked, his voice steady, but there was something unreadable in his expression.

He seemed unfazed, his focus unwavering. “I’m busy, now is not the time,” he said plainly, still refusing to look up..
“Husy“” I echoed, frigning shock as I placed my hands dramatically on my chest. “So when do we get to talk about our future?”
His eyes snapped up, locking onto mine with a displeased glance. “What future?” he shot back, his tone sharp.
“Are you just going to act like nothing happened between us that day… at the hospital?” I pressed, taking a step closer, my heart racing
Asher’s expression barely flickered as he leaned back in his chair. The slight arch of his brow was the only indication that he had even registered my

“Really, that’s how you feel?” I said, pouring myself a glass of water.
Before he could respond, I tilted the glass, letting the water pour over my chest. The fabric of my white dress clung to my skin, turning transparent. my pointed nipples hardening at the cold sensation.
“Asher.” I said, my voice soft and sultry, “Look at me and tell me you don’t fantasize fucking me.”
His eyes flickered downward for the briefest moment before he turned his back to me, his composure unshaken. Take a shirt from the wardrobe and leave,” he ordered, his voice devoid of any warmth.
I smirked to myself, sauntering toward the wardrobe. I pulled out one of his crisp white shirts, slipping it on slowly, leaving several buttons undone just to see if I could break through his icy facade.
As I adjusted the shirt, I heard faint voices outside the door. My curiosity piqued, and I stepped out quietly, only to hear Gemini’s voice.
When I turned the comer, I found her standing there, her eyes darting between Asher and me. Her expression was a mix of confusion and hurt as she took in the scene–my half–buttoned shirt with spilling cleavage, Asher’s tense posture, and the lingering tension in the air.
She swallowed hard, frozen in the moment like she just had her heart ripped out. “I’m… I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to interrupt,” Gemini said quickly. ber voice wavering as she took a step back
