Talia grinned and obviously didn’t feel like just sitting there. She casually raised her hand and gave a wave.
Mick felt like he had been run over by a truck and stumbled backward, bumping into the table behind him to steady himself.
This totally changed his expression from dark to solemn. He was stunned by Talia’s strength. His gut feeling said something was wrong.
This caused a collective gasp.
“Damn, she even has the guts to fight back.”
“Then again, Mick actually took several steps hack”
“Mick was caught off guard. Otherwise, he could have taken her down with one punch. All she could do was bluff?
That’s right. She’s not worth it All it takes is one wond from Mick, and she’s gone from this college.”
Talia was all smiles, casually flipping through her textbook as if the world was perfectly fine. “So, do you still want me to get out of here or what!”
Mick was nursing a sharp pain in his arm, which made his eyebrows shoot up.
If I was just being clumsy, what’s up with the sudden pain? Plus, she’s blatantly poking the bear here. If her goal is to snag my attention, well mission accomplished. I’m definitely riled up, thought Mick
Right on cue, the teacher strolled in, textbook in hand. Mick clammed up and dropped into the seat beside Talia with a dark face.
Hebarely settled in before starting to snooze. He planned to shoo Talia away after he woke up.
But Talia was in her element, soaking up the lesson and jotting down notes every now and then. Time flew, and before she knew it, it was lunchtime.
As she queued up in the cafeteria, a voice piped up “Hey,ady not hit up the third floor for something fancier! Didn’t have the money?”
“Maybe she spent all the money just to get into Class One, so she only has the money for a regular meal now.”
Talia couldn’t be bothered to engage with Sandra and her posse, but her ears perked up at the mention of a fancy restaurant on the third floor. “So. how could I get to the third floor?”
For a moment, all three were at a loss for words “Really, thousands for a meal? Think you can handle that? It’s way out of your league Yvonne snickered.
Shana jumped in with her own tease. “She might afford it since she snatched Sandra’s allowance money”
Talia picked up on the undertone in their mockery. Clearly, Sandra had been spinning stories, smearing her name among friends. Classic Sandra

Yet Sandra, ever the charmer, smiled sweetly and said. “Talia, the elevator to that fancy restaurant on the third floor is that way.”
Her fake kindness made Talia’s skin crawl. “Cut it out, Sandra”
Under the shocked looks of the trio, Talia walked straight to the elevator and headed to the third floor. No matter how disgusting Sandra was, Talia wouldn’t let her ruin her appetite.
“Outrageous! Let’s go up and teach her a lesson Yvonne and Shana were about to go after her.
Sandra, on the other hand, said coyly, “Beat her up in the cafeteria? It’s not a good idea. No matter what, she’s my sister.”
Yvonne was indignant. “She robbed you of your allowance and went to a fancy lunch herself. You, on the other hand, are reduced to eating regular meals.”
“That’s right. And she’s in Class One while you’re not. She’s a bully, not your sister,” added Shanna. “We can’t let it slide.”
Yvonne and Shana went up angrily. Sandra was smug inwardly, thinking,” Go on and beat Talia up. The nastier, the better
In the cramped elevator, Yvonne put one hand behind Talia’s head and intimidated Talia with a threatening look on her face. “Hand over Sandra’s allowance!

Talia couldn’t believe it as she watched the two girls threatening her. ‘Sandra hasn’t done anything, and her two lackeys can’t wait to prove their loyalty? What’s the point? she wondered.
“What money!” Talia asked.
Yvonne grew angrier and resisted the urge to punch her in the face. “You took Sandra’s pocket money. Don’t act innocent”
You got proof of that!” Talia asked again.
Yvonne and Shana froze. There was no proof. Just then, the elevator reached the third floor.
pushed Yvonne away and walked straight out. The fancy restaurant on the third floor had waiters and separate private rooms.
“Hello, miss. May I ask how many of you will be dining here, please?” the waiter walked up and asked.
“One.” Talia said as the waiter led her to a booth, sat down, and ordered her food and a bottle of red
“Yes, please wait,” said the waiter.

Yvonne and Shana took it all in. “And you said you didn’t take Sandra’s money. Where did you get the money for the fancy lunch!” Yvonne asked.
*Admit it! You took Sandra’s money!” Shana snapped.
Talia, calm and collected, shrugged. “I don’t have to tell you where I get my money. But in no way did I rob Sandra. Besides, I’m going to eat, so you guys can go.”
Yvonne and Shana hadn’t gotten the money back or taken their anger out on Talia. They were not going anywhere.
Just then, the waiter brought the wine up. Yvonne snatched it from the waiter and raised it in the air as if she was gonna smash it. “Hand over the money, or I’ll blow your head off”
The waiter noticed that a fight was about to go down. He got scared and turned his head to run away, not wanting to get involved in the rich kids feud.
Shana slammed the door shut. It seemed they were going to make a move on Talia
Talia smiled helplessly. “Looks like you guys are going to mess with me today for Sandra.”
Two idiots, storming in and going out of their way to mess with me for Sandra while Sandra is downstairs, eating and drinking juice, all comfortable, and couldn’t care less about them, Talia thought
Yvonne repeated, Im going to say this one last time. Hand over the money you took from Sandra.”
Talia stood up and strolled towards Yvonne without saying a word. Sensing that Talia was aiming for the wine in her hand, Yvonne snapped again, “Don’t move, or I’ll really hit you!”
Talia continued, taking a few steps toward her and snatching the red wine from Yvonne’s hand without saying a word.
Yvonne tried to grab it but realized that Talia was so strong that she couldn’t hold on to the bottle even with both hands. She kicked Talia hard in
anger.
Talia smiled, knocking Yvonne back with a faster kick. Yvonne fell backward, slamming into the door hard and falling down
“Ah!” Yvonne screamed in pain.
“Yvonnel Are you okay?” Shana ran over in shock and helped Yvonne to her feet.
Talia, on the other hand, casually looked at the red wine in her hand. “It’s super expensive. I’m glad it didn’t break.” All she cared about was the wine.
That kick just now had completely enraged Yvonne. After getting back to her feet, she lunged at Talia again angrily. “Bitch, I’ll beat you up!”
