Chapter 10
Our family’s vegetables were pesticide–free, perfect for what these parents were looking for–green, organic produce.
I quickly snapped a picture of our greenhouse vegetable garden and sent it to the parent. I mentioned that I was helping out at home and that all these vegetables were homegrown.
The parent sent back three exclamation marks and immediately video–called me.
After confirming that I wasn’t lying, she excitedly said she wanted to place an order and asked if I could deliver it to her door. Afraid I might feel it was too small an order, she even called over ten more parents.

In just ten minutes, over a hundred people were in the group, all wanting to buy vegetables.
“We don’t want you to lose out, we’re willing to pay 10% more than the market price,” one parent offered.
I was astonished. “It won’t be 10%, just cover the delivery costs,” I replied.
Then the parents started listing the vegetables they wanted and how much of each. I calculated that selling at this price. was more profitable than wholesale. After
discussing it with my parents, we decided
go for it.

That night, we worked late, picking, packing, and preparing for an early morning departure. Fortunately, the distance between the two cities wasn’t too far–only about

50 kilometers. By 8 a.m., we arrived at the residential complex.
We timed it perfectly. The parents had just finished dropping off their kids, and we had already packed the vegetables. They could simply pick up their orders, and within half an hour, everything was sold out.
The parents were very satisfied and requested that we continue selling. I added my brother to our chat group to help manage orders and collect payments.
We did this for three consecutive days. On the fourth day, just after we finished. delivering the goods, a woman approached
- me.
I recognized her as the owner of a fruit and vegetable shop near the entrance of the complex.

She said she had been watching us set up our stall for the past few days and asked if I would be interested in supplying her store.
I was surprised–her shop catered to a high–end clientele. I hadn’t expected her to be interested in our produce.
“Your vegetables have become quite popular in the neighborhood lately. A lot of people are asking where to buy them. I’ve been in business for years, and I have a good eye for quality. Your produce is fresh, and the quality is great. You won’t have trouble selling it.”
I smiled, pleased. “Thank you for the compliment. My parents will be thrilled to hear that.”
“So, how about we collaborate? But I have one condition–you’ll need to have your

I thought it over seriously and agreed.
In our village, there were so many people growing vegetables, but selling them had always been a challenge. Although some vegetable traders came to buy, the profits were minimal. If we could solve the sales problem, the farmers could make a much. better income.
“Alright, I’ll go print the contract, and we can sign it now.”
