The air was thick with tension as Jayden stood beside Sabrina, his unwavering presence a constant in the storm that surrounded them. She had gone through so much–betrayal, heartbreak, and now, the pressure of the past crashing into the present.
Yet, through it all, Jayden remained steadfast, a rock for her to lean on. He could see the fatigue in her eyes, the weight she carried on her shoulders, but he never faltered. His dedication to her was clear, and it was something that no one, not even her worst enemies, could take away.
It was in the midst of this chaos that an old friend of Jayden‘ s arrived unexpectedly. A man by the name of Lucas, someone
Jayden had known for years, stepped into the scene. His arrival wasn’t a welcome one–especially not at this delicate

moment.
Lucas was perceptive, sharp, and he had always been the voice of caution. He could read people like open books, and now, standing in the same room as Jayden and Sabrina, he had a quiet concern in his eyes.
After a few moments of small talk and
pleasantries, Lucas pulled Jayden aside. His voice dropped to a whisper, as if the weight of his words required a level of privacy. “Jayden,” he began, his tone serious, “I know you care about her. I can. see that. But I’ve been watching you, and I have to ask–are you sure you want to invest so much of yourself in her right now?”
Jayden‘ s brow furrowed. He turned his gaze to Lucas, his face not betraying the concern he felt at the question. “What are you saying?”
Lucas sighed. “I know Sabrina has been through a lot. And I know you want to be there for her. But you have to be careful.

She’s still trying to find her footing. She’s hurt, and she’s not in a place where she can give back to you what you‘ re giving her.”
Jayden’s lips tightened, but his voice remained steady. “I’m not doing this for anything in return. I care about her, and that’s enough.”
Lucas shook his head. “I know you do. But sometimes, giving everything to someone who’s not ready to love you back can tear you apart. Just think about it. What if she never feels the same way? What if she can’t ever love you like you love her?”
The words hit harder than Jayden expected. He looked away, his eyes clouding with something close to doubt.
“I’m not afraid of that,” he said quietly, though there was a flicker of uncertainty in his voice. “I’m doing what’s right for
her.

Back at the club, Savvy’s life had taken at downward spiral. Once a person who thrived on manipulation and control, she now found herself trapped in a world that no longer served her. The bruises on her body and the brokenness in her soul were a testament to the hell she had created for herself. Her attempts to control the lives of others had come back to haunt her, leaving her isolated and desperate.
The club, once her domain, now felt suffocating. She could no longer pretend. she was in control. The staff, the clients,
and even the environment–all of it was wearing her down. She had learned the layout of the place quickly, her sharp mind taking in every detail. The club’s midday closing hours became her opportunity. No

longer able to bear the constant pressure, she seized the chance to escape.
Dressing in a janitor s uniform, Savvy slipped away unnoticed. Her bruised body, marked by the consequences of her actions, made her look like a mere shadow, a ghost of her former self. She made her way to the hotel where Nicolas had been staying. The journey was long and tiring, but she refused to stop. She was determined to find him, to make him see the truth, to beg for his forgiveness.
She waited outside his door for what felt like hours. Her heart raced with fear and desperation. She had no idea how he would. react, no idea if he would even open the door. But she had no other choice. This was the only way she knew how to fix things- by pleading with him, begging him to take
her back.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Nicolas opened the door. He stood there, surprised to see her, his eyes narrowing in

suspicion. Before he could speak, Savvy lunged forward, her arms wrapping around him, clinging to him as though he was her only lifeline.
“Nicolas, please,” she sobbed, her voice breaking. “Please help me. I’ve made so many mistakes. I’m sorry. I know I hurt you. But I can’t take it anymore. I need you. Please, take me back.”
Nicolas recoiled, his expression one of disgust. He took a step back, pushing her away with a firm hand. “Savvy, what do you think you‘ re doing?” he spat, his voice filled with contempt. “You‘ ve lied to me, manipulated me, and caused so much pain. You don’t get to just waltz. back into my life.”
Savvy’s face twisted with desperation. She tried to reach for him again, her voice pleading. “Nicolas, please. These past few days have been like living in hell. I’ve learned my lesson. I’m sorry. I know I made a huge mistake, but I’m not the

same person anymore. Please, take me back.”
Nicolas s eyes softened, but only for a moment. The memories of what she had done to Sabrina, to him, came flooding back. He had no room in his heart for her anymore not after everything. “No, Savvy,” he said, his voice firm. “I’m done. I don’t owe you anything, Leave.”
With that, he shut the door, leaving Savvy standing outside in the cold, her tears. mingling with the rain. But her misery. didn’t end there. The people from the club had tracked her location and found her standing there, broken and defeated. They quickly took her back, dragging her away with little regard for her pleas.
‘No, please! I can’t go back there! Please, it’s horrible here!” Savvy screamed and then one of the men smacked her brutally.
“Shut up you lying bitch.” One of the men sneered at her viciously.
