My sister–in–law wants my niece to inherit my estate
Chapter 1
I’m a staunchly single gal. I promised my niece that after I kicked the bucket, she’d get all my
dough.
My brother and his wife were deeply moved by
this.
So, when I treated myself to a designer bag, my sister–in–law would say, “Honey, you need to save that money. What’s wrong with plastic bags? They’re big, sturdy, and free.”
When I’d take a break from work and grab a latte to wake me up, my sister–in–law would say, “Can’t you just drink water? One coffee could buy a whole gallon of water!”
One day, as I was prepping for a solo road trip,

my sister–in–law finally snapped. She plunged a
kitchen knife into my stomach, screaming,
“You’re gonna die from not wasting money! Is that it?!”
Then I woke up.

“Auntie, when you die, can I have all your money?”
A childish voice echoed in my ear. I blinked,
suddenly realizing that I had been reborn!
In my previous life, I had chosen to remain
single. My niece, Lily, asked me if she could
have my money when I passed away.
She was a sweet, well–behaved kid.
Considering I had no plans to marry and have
children, it wasn’t such a bad idea to leave my
inheritance to her.

So, I agreed with a smile.
But little did I know, the moment I said “yes” was the start of my nightmare!

I started spending my own money, buying
myself a Chanel bag, and got criticized by my sister–in–law for being vain.
I bought a latte to help me stay awake, and she
scolded me for it.
She did everything she could to stop me from “overspending,” including making me ride a
bike for an hour in the scorching heat to get to
the cheapest grocery store.
I couldn’t take it anymore, I told her I was
spending my own money and she needed to
mind her own business, only to get called a
shameless hussy.
<
My brother and my mom sided with her, taking
turns yelling at me:
“That money is for Lily in the future, how can
you spend it so carelessly?”
Even Lily agreed, pouting as she chimed in:
“Auntie, you spend so much of Lily’s money
every month. Don’t you feel ashamed?”
I was shocked!
I hadn’t even died yet, and they already
considered every cent of my money theirs!
Shock, disappointment, and a profound sense
of loneliness washed over me. I didn’t want to
be in that house anymore.
