Kevin picked Claire up and rushed her to the hospital. My mom followed them.
Emily hesitated, and then limped after them.

At the hospital, Claire lost the baby.
She was screaming, and wanted my mom to compensate her for the death of her child. She also wanted to call the cops and have her mom arrested.
My mom turned pale. “I just pushed her gently! It’s her fault for not standing properly! It’s not my fault!”
“Kevin, are you even a man! You betrayed me with that bitch! And now my son is dead! Can’t you say a word? I’m gonna call the cops!

She slapped Claire hard.

The room was silent before Claire started

My mom calmed down after hearing what Emily said.
But she was sad that her grandson died.

My mom widened her eyes. Kevin was shocked

Emily nodded, “But Auntie, if the baby’s born,
will it be an illegitimate child….”
My mom frowned but didn’t say anything.
Claire was so angry that she could barely
breathe. Her face was purple.
Then Emily added, “I went to a fortune teller
too. They said it’s a boy.
“Even if it’s not, I’m still young, and can have more kids with Kevin.
“But you, you just lost your baby, and now
you’re going through so much sadness, the
doctor said you probably won’t be able to get pregnant again…”
My mom clenched her jaw. “Kevin, you’re
getting divorced from Claire!”

But after losing her baby, and being betrayed by her husband and her sister, Claire got angry and started cursing at Kevin every time she saw him.
Emily was gentle and kind, and she made men want to protect her.
When he compared the two women, Kevin
decided to divorce Claire.
That made Claire furious, she grabbed a knife
and tried to stab Emily.
Emily was just as evil, she called the cops and had Claire arrested.
When Claire was being taken away, Emily held Lily’s hand and went to see her one last time.

Emily’s eyes teared up.
Lily leaned on Emily, and said to Claire, “From
now on, Emily is my mom.”
Emily smiled and rubbed her belly. “Sis, I’ll look

Time flew by, and after Emily gave birth, it was
indeed a boy.
My mom was overjoyed.
To take better care of her grandson, Emily
suggested hiring a nanny.
I had to pay for the nanny.
My mom came and told me about it.
“You don’t have children. You should be nice to
your nephew. He will look after you when you’re
older.”
I chuckled and agreed immediately.
The nanny came quickly.
She was wearing a hat and her clothes were
old.
When she arrived at my place, Emily was sitting
on the sofa, holding her baby.
She frowned.
“You look so old–fashioned. Can you teach my baby?”
The nanny didn’t say anything, and walked
towards Emily.

Emily was about to say something but then, a knife stabbed into her belly.
“I raised you, don’t you think I know how to raise your kid?”
Underneath the hat, was Claire, with an evil
look.
Emily tried to speak, but Claire stabbed her again.
“You didn’t see that coming, did you? I acted like a model prisoner and got out early.”
Claire stood over Emily and watched her slowly bleed to death.
Before she died, Emily looked in one direction and cried out “Help me…”
I looked in Emily’s direction. I saw Lily standing
there.
Her face was calm.
When Claire was in prison, Emily treated Lily
better than she had, but not as well as she
treated the baby.
I guess some people are just ungrateful.
After Emily died, Claire didn’t stop there.
She dragged Emily to the bedroom, and then
waited for Kevin.
My mom came back home just as Claire was
stabbing Kevin in the stomach. She screamed.
Claire tried to catch her, but couldn’t.
My mom brought the cops back, and Claire
pulled out proof that she had a mental disorder.

She was let go without charges, and was sent
to a mental hospital.
As she walked by me, Claire whispered, “You
promised to get me out of the mental hospital!
Don’t forget that!”
I smiled. “What are you saying? If you’re sick, you should get treatment at the hospital.”
Mental hospitals were much more torturing than prison.
Emily widened her eyes, and yelled, “You lied to
me! You tricked me! You bitch!”
