Within seconds, the alley was filled with the sounds of painful screams–so loud that passerby steered clear, not daring to come near.
A few minutes later. Celeste calmly walked out of the alley, leaving a group of men lying on the ground behind her.

As Tom limped out of the alley, Mason was driving toward Celeste’s apartment.
He knew he owed her an apology after realizing he had been wrong.
Just as he arrived at her building, he saw a suspicious figure loitering near the entrance.

At worst, Celeste would juu yell at him–he knew this whole thing was his fault to begin with.
Finally, he knocked on the door.
There was no answer, but Mason wasn’t surprised. “Celeste, I’m sorry. I know this is my fault. I didn’t get all the facts straight, and I’m here to apologize.”
Just then the door to the neighboring apartment opened. It was the same nosy neighbor from last time.

Mason didn’t leave, though. He decided to wait for Celeste. He didn’t know where she was, but he was determined to see her.
Strangely, he found himself thinking about her face. He missed her.

Meanwhile, Celeste had spent the night at Jessica’s place. After beating up Tom Walker and his gang, she had gone to Jessica’s for some fun.
They had spent the whole night racing motorcycles in a video game, and Jessica had lost repeatedly.
Jessica teased. “You’re playing way too aggressively. You must be in a bad mood. If this were a real racetrack, you’d be driving like you had a death

They had stayed up too late, so Celeste ended up crashing at Jessica’s place. The next morning, the two of them, along with Michael, headed to the
racetrack.
The track was on a mountain with some steep, challenging turns. It was a perfect test of skill.
What Celeste didn’t expect was to see Anthony there.
Michael explained, “Heard we were coming to race, and Anthony decided to join us. You don’t mind, do you, Celeste?”
Celeste shrugged. “Why would I mind? The more, the merrier.”
She picked out a sleek black motorcycle and changed into her racing suit. With her helmet in hand, she looked absolutely stunning confident and

Michael stared, his eyes wide. “Celeste, you look amazing!”
Even Anthony couldn’t take his eyes off her. Celeste was breathtaking, and it was impossible to look away,
“Enough with the flattery,” Celeste said, putting on her helmet. “Which one of you wants to race me?”

Celeste nodded and started her bike.
Mason, who had finally tracked Celeste down, found out she was at the racetrack.
Feeling like his apology still hadn’t been delivered, he headed straight there.
On the way. John called him back. “I’ve got the info, Mason. The man’s name is Tom Walker. He used to be part of SG’s management but was fired not too long ago.”
“SG” Mason was stunned. How did Celeste know people from SC
