Serena escomed me to bedroom chambes that were on the top floor of the manor, on the far end I immediately realized the bedroom chambers chusen for me where on the Alpha Bone, right next to his Claring at the door off to the side of the bedbroom, aware in lead into the Alpha’s personal quarters. Alpha Kadden had chosen it perfectly, to be able to have access to the chambers without arousing anyone a suspicions.
Stalking into the bedroom I had to admit that the man had given me pretty luxurious chambers. A four poster bed sat positioned on a platform a good two feet off the flour, stairs lead up to it. On the apposite side of the canopy bed were French doors leading our onto the balcony. Along the wall directly across from the door was arched windows giving a perfect view of the woods. And the mountain range beyond. The type of chambers expected from a lady of high mobility status, nor one destined for the king’s new servant
The woman cautiously watched me as I peered around at the room, a array of thoughts glowig in her eyes. She stood no
farther than the doorway. thick fingers locked in froed of her. “Alpha Kadden is a good man, he’s just been through a lot these last months. Unfortunately you’ve met him at ha worse but give it some time and you will learn to see hun at his best.”
Though I didn’t think to argue the claims the woman was making, I didn’t think I’d ever know him at his best. A part of me remembered the kind man I’d known growing up in this pack, who loved his children and wife. Only that man seemed to have vanished the wake of his luna’s death replaced by the vengeful and angry man downstain. All I saw was a cold hearted alpha who was willing to use his own power to get what he wanted. damned the consequences. And it seemed right now he wanted to use his fated mate as his own personal senant.
“Just give it time.” Serena promised. A hand motioned to the door off to th side of the main bedroom quanen “A private bathroom could be found through that door, appropriate active his hanging up there. Alpha Kadden wishes for you in bath and change. You are free to remain here to get your harings of your new placement, though your expected to deliver dinner”

When the door closed behind the woman’s departure I didn’t attempt to move towards the bathroom. No matter what the man wanted from me, be was about to see that he couldn’t get whatever he wanted. Alpha King or not, I want going to simply bound down to the whims of the arrogant

I might be forced to be stuck in this place, bound to the obnoxious alpha king, but I’d never be the timid creature I’d been as a child. I calmly accepted the predicament Fd been placed in, but wouldn’t be this way forever. One way or another I would find a way out of the hell I’d been thrown into, and the man holding me captive. I was in need of a good rest.
When Serena came upstairs to the room approximately half an hour later, I was already fast asleep.
