I quickly adapted to life here and even started expanding the scope of my volunteer work. In the evenings, I organized games for the travelers in the hostel. I didn’t know what his original profession was, but based on the choice of location for the hostel, he was clearly brilliant. If it wasn’t for his semi–hands–off approach before, not only would they not have made money, but they would have been losing.
I carefully considered whether I should go back to my old job, but I was honestly fed up with the grind. Now, I was free and relaxed, why not try doing something I truly wanted to do?
