Hello, I’m so sorry for the single update I’ve been releasing daily. I’m currently writing my Thesis and it’s really time- consuming. To those who encouraged me to go for my master’s program, y’all didn’t prepare me for this part (thesis at all. Thank you so much for reading and coming back each day for an update. We’re getting closer to the end and I can’t wait to start another book with you all.
Angela’s POV
I removed my lips from Darius before I did something stupid. My body wanted him. No, scratch that, my body craved him but my brain doesn’t. The fact that he lied to me still came back to my head and I had to push him a few inches away from
- me.
My wolf whined. I sucked in my lower lip as I fisted my palm–I wanted to go back and kiss him. The temptation was so hard that I could barely see myself overcoming it.
“What’s wrong?” He asked so softly. I looked up. He was staring at me with so much passion and worry. My eyes fell to his lips and I took a deep fucking breath.
“Nothing. I think I should go back. My mom and Reina are probably waiting.”
“Angela,” he moved closer to me and cupped my chin. “I don’t want you to hide anything from me, alright? If you’re mad at me, let me know, if you’re worried about something, tell me,”
I’m not mad at you. It’s just you lied to me and I can’t seem to let go of that,”
He closed his eyes for a few seconds then opened them to look at me..
“I was an idiot. I should’ve told you she was alive somewhere but my stupidity got the better part of me. I didn’t think tha information was necessary since our life was just about us and not our past. Now, I realize my mistake, baby. I’m sorry that I hurt you with my lies,”
His apology was sincere and I understood.
“If you want to take some time out to think things through, that’s fine. Just don’t let go of us,”
He dipped his hand into his right pocket and brought out a beautiful necklace, one just like Reina’s.
“Reina has one of these, I told him. I was suddenly overwhelmed with excitement. “She said you gave her,”
He frowned a bit which made me bothered. “I did but he paused. We need to talk about Reina,”
“What’s wrong? Is she okay? Did something happen when I was gone?”
He shook his head and smiled. “It’s not a cause for alarm. Just something we should talk about,”
1 watched as he walked around me to settle behind my back. He pushed my hair to the side. I held it in place so he could wear the necklace for me.
“It’s beautiful,” I mumbled happily.
“I know and at the same time, you can click that button and I’ll be wherever you are at any moment
I was a bit jealous of Reina when I saw this with her. I thought he didn’t get me one.
He squinted his eyes and stared at me with a hint of playfulness

“You know you just sild that put loud right??
I gasped. “No, I didn’t,”
He shrugged as if he was going to drop the conversation and take me for my word. He raised an eyebrow and I glared at him. He held my hand and kissed my cheeks softly.
“Let’s talk about Reina,” I urged him.
If I hadn’t said something to change the mood, I would’ve launched myself at him like a rocket and kissed him terribly.
“Let’s start with the latest one,” he took a seat and gestured at me to sit beside him but I refused. I took a seat opposite him.
He stared at me, his eyes lingering on my lips, but he didn’t say anything.
