Angela’s POV
Once Darius kissed me again, I knew it was over. There was no way I would be able to stop my deepest desires from taking over. I threw my arms around his neck and moved my body closer to him. He grabbed my thighs and lifted me up
I quickly wrapped my legs around his waist as he pressed me down into the bed, his weight shifting in the process so it wouldn’t be too much on me. He was bigger than me, almost three times my size and how he melts every time to the touch of my finger marvels me

I frowned. Why would he ask such a crazy question at a moment like that?

“You can take all your time tomorrow to draw me but tonight, I can’t hold back anymore, I want you.”

He climbed off the bed and stood at the foot of the bed. He stripped down completely naked, giving me a full view of the masterpiece of his body.
I hurriedly removed my clothes as well and he stopped me before I could get rid of my panties.

For the next hour, true to his words, all I could sing was his name. Once I’d been thoroughly fucked, he took me for a shower. I placed my head on his shoulder as we sat in the bathtub letting the water soothe our skin.
“If I want to kill someone, how do I go about it?” I suddenly asked

Darius moved and I had to–li my head. He stared at me.
“You want to kill someone, he repeated my words.
“How do I do it?”
“Tell me whoever it is first.
“Zack. He hurt my family and I need to pay back for every pain hr’s caused us so far.”

“Did he touch you?” He asked.
I got tongue–tied. I couldn’t lie to Darius anymore. I couldn’t keep staring at him and telling him everything was fine
“He tried to but Velicia or Grace, whatever her name is, helped me before he could do something horrible”
1 heard a low growl behind me. I knew it was Darius and I didn’t have to look back just to confirm. His eyes darkened and I could feel his hold around my waist tighten.
“He’s a dead man. The moment he touched you, he left his life at your feet. Wherever he may be, whatever it might take, I’ll make sure I bring him back to his pack and give you the right to decide which ever way you want to pay him back in his own
coin.
It sounded evil and I suddenly became soft. I didn’t think I would be able to take his life like I wanted. Would I hold a dagger and kill him or would I use a silver bullet? I couldn’t say but I dared to hope that I wouldn’t chicken out when the time was right.
“Thank you, Darius,”
“Don’t say that baby. I’m the one grateful for the gift of you,”
After the shower, we went to sleep but didn’t sleep because we didn’t stop fucking like rabbits.
In the early hours of the morning, as early as five, I stood up and quietly wore my clothes. Darius was already sleeping so soundly he didn’t notice as I left the room. I didn’t try waking him up either. I also went with the bag of clothes I’d packed up earlier for Reina and me.
As I got down the stairs, Mason came out of the kitchen. He raised an eyebrow and I shrugged. He probably thought I was running away from home or something. The look on his face was so funny that I managed not to burst into laughter until I was out of the door.
On the front porch of my mom’s house was Azalea. He lit a cigarette and returned the lighter into his pocket just as I moved closer. I frowned.
“What’s going on Azalea? Why are you here?” I asked in confusion
I’d also seen Stanley earlier a few feet away from the house and that was also weird.
“Good morning, Madam. I came to drop off some things that your mom might need. Alpha Darius instructed me to.
“This early?”
I couldn’t keep the frown away from my face.
“Yes ma’am. The earlier I get it done, the better. Because I have other things to also attend to,”
“Okay,”
He smiled. “Have a good day, ma’am.”
“You too,”
I managed to say. His story didn’t make much sense to me. Why drop off stuff so early when you could do it during daybreak? It was weird.
It took me a minute and one more to open the door and walk into the house. I could hear noise coming from the kitchen so I followed it.
It was my mom. She was arranging some food in the pantry. 1 could see the drinks, toiletries, and others on the kitchen floor. She turned when she heard my footsteps and smiled at me
A real, genuine smile. She looked better like she had less burden on her shoulders.
“What’s going on?”
“Darius asked Azelea to drop these off,”
“Okay?”
“It’s so nice of him,”
“You look happy. Did something happen?”
She laughed. All of a sudden, out of the blue, she laughed. I didn’t believe my question was funny.
“Mom?”
She suddenly turned to me and held my hand-
“I want to tell you something. I can’t wait until you hear it from someone else,”
She dragged me to the dining area and made me sit before she sat opposite me and held
“What’s going on?” I was getting worried.
“I have a lover,” She suddenly announced. It sounded weird, to be honest.

I was skeptical to ask who it was. For unknown reasons, I wanted to remain in the dark and continue to process the fact that my mom was dating someone but on the other hand, my mom was ready to tell all of her secrets.
