When Angela saw me, it was like she’d been injected with some kind of energy. She immediately shoved Penelope aside and charged toward me.
“Sidney, why are you here… What right do you have to step in here?”
“I’m the daughter–in–law of the Conner family! I’m Erik’s wife!”
Angela bared her teeth and clawed at me.
I smiled faintly and asked, “Oh? I haven’t gotten my divorce certificate yet, but you’ve already gotten your marriage certificate? What’s going on? Did Erik remarry?”
