Unbeknownst to Selene, a whirlwind of events unfolded behind the scenes. Draped in an exquisite gown, she stood poised and radiant on stage.
The audience erupted in applause, their admiration evident in the cacophony of cheers.
On the sidelines, Seraphim and Rowena beamed with pride at the sight of her. Seraphim, filled with satisfaction, declared to the crowd, “This is my eldest daughter, who has been lost to us for many years.”
His announcement ignited a wave of confusion. Voices whispered through the crowd, “Isn’t the Wynn Family supposed to have only one daughter, Thalia?”

Some in the crowd mistakenly assumed the event was a celebration for Thalia, which only added to their bewilderment.
Seraphim then unfolded Selene’s true identity, revealing her as the daughter he and Rowena had long ago. Just like that, Selene transitioned from an illegitimate child to the rightful eldest daughter of the Wynn Family.
A few in the crowd began to applaud, leading the chorus. “Congratulations, Mr. Wynn, on reuniting with your beloved daughter! Such a joyous occasion!”

In the midst of these accolades, Selene’s smile widened. Yet, just as the moment seemed perfect, Callum and Cassian entered the hall, their expressions stern and unwavering. Callum stepped forward, his voice sharp and cold as he interrupted, “Dad, I disagree.”
The atmosphere shifted immediately. Seraphim, Selene, and Rowena exchanged looks of surprise. Seraphim’s glare fixed on his son, his voice low and resolute. “Why do you disagree? Selene is your sister; you must treat her fairly.”
Selene recovered her composure and, adopting an air of innocence, turned to Callum and Cassian. “Cassian, did Callum say something to you? I don’t know what I did wrong for her to deserve such treatment?”

Suddenly, the video meant to celebrate Selene’s life morphed into a harrowing scene of Thalia suffering in prison. The footage revealed a sinister conspiracy implicating Selene.
Selene shrieked in panic, desperately trying to explain to Seraphim, “Dad, please, it’s not what it looks like! I’m being framed–it’s all lies!”
Seraphim’s grin faded as he watched the horror unfold onscreen–his daughter, so reminiscent of Isolde, was being tortured. Fury and disbelief marred his face as the treachery and attempted assassination laid bare the damning truth.

Sensing the gravity of the situation, Rowena clutched Seraphim’s arm anxiously. “Seraphim, Selene is innocent. Technology today can deceive even the keenest eyes. Someone evil is setting her up!”
