Chapter 20
The trial hall of the Sacred Court was silent beneath the full silver moon.
Light streamed through the ceiling, casting a pale glow across my shoulders. I stood at the center of the council dais, beneath the Marcus banner. The silverred hue glowing softly at my collarbone confirmed it–my dual power fusion had succeeded.
I was now the first of my kind.
Before me, Ethan knelt on one knee.
He had removed his Alpha robes and wore only a simple black shirt. In his hands was a velvet box.
“As the head of the Marcus pack” I said

coldly, “I hereby grant you absolution.”
He looked up, stunned. “You… truly forgive me?”
I descended the steps, stopping just in front of him.
“But on one condition.”
I opened the box and drew out a leather collar. Its clasp was engraved with my sigil.
“From this day forward,” I said, “you will be my exclusive Omega.”
He trembled, eyes reddening.
“I accept,” he whispered. “Even if you gave me chains, I would wear them.”
“Fool.” I smiled faintly, fastening it around his

neck.
But then, I produced something else.
A ring.
“I’m not looking for a slave,” I said, kneeling to his level. “I want a husband.”
His breath caught. Then, he bent down and kissed the back of my hand.
“From now on… I’m yours.”
We returned to the orphanage ruins.
Beneath the rubble, the rose he once planted bloomed again–Silvermoon Firekiss.
“Do you remember this place?” he asked softly.

“Of course.” I stared at the broken stones. “It was where I made a wish–if I survived, I’d repay everything in blood.”
“And you did,” he said. “You lived sharper than anyone.”
I glanced sideways at him. “And you buried the girl who loved you here.”
“I buried Emily,” he said, “but I think… I buried the last piece of myself, too.”
Not far away, Omega Silas placed a letter inside the hollow of a tree and walked away quietly.
Alpha Daniel stood beneath the trees, staring up at the stars. In his hand was a note from

to walk beside you.]
The council gates opened.
Lucien stepped onto the high platform.
“From this day forward,” he declared, “the Marcus and Foster bloodlines are merged. All classbased purity laws are abolished.”
“Successor. Alpha Evelyn Marcus, the Dualpower Heir.”
Thunderous applause followed.
That night, beneath the moonlight of the Silver Grove, we stood alone.
Alpha Ethan stepped behind me.
“Do you remember,” he said, voice barely audible, “what I said when you died?”

I didn’t turn.
I just reached back, took his hand.
“I don’t want to die again to hear it.”
He pulled me close.
This time, our scent markers blended not in war, not in survival
But in peace.
In truth.
In love.
And in that moment, the entire Silvermoon Forest bloomed in harmony.
Roses of red, white, and firegold.

For the first time in history, flowers bloomed for love.
And I understood
I had never been the one chosen by fate.
I was the one who ripped fate apart and chose myself.
Epilogue
Far away, in a quiet town
Alpha Daniel unfolded the letter I left in the treehole.
Inside, a single line:
[If you remember me, then don’t regret me.]

He smiled and planted a Silvermoon Firekiss seed in the soil.
Beside him, Omega Silas handed him a
watering can.
“We’ll wait together,” he said.
Alpha Daniel nodded. “We’ll see if it blooms.”
The wind swept through the trees.
And in the distance
A newborn howl rang across the sky.
The story ends.
And the legend begins.

Book 3:
I stood in my wedding gown, waiting for Alpha Zach to step onto the stage.
Today was supposed to be my wedding day–mine and Alpha Zach’s. The Alpha I’d secretly loved for years. I still couldn’t believe it was real. After today, I’d no longer be the Beta of Silver Claw Pack–I’d be Luna.
Or so I thought.
But just as the ceremony was about to begin… Alpha Zach walked up the altar- hand in hand with another bride.
Callie Clark.
His ex–girlfriend. His once–fated mate.
The whispers in the crowd turned into a low

roar. My wolf, who had been howling with joy only moments ago, went dead silent.
Then the officiant’s voice rang out through. the hall:
“This concludes the wedding rehearsal. Beta Juliet, please step down and join the audience.”
Rehearsal?
I froze.
Just for a few seconds.
Everyone probably thought the shock would break me. That I’d drop to the floor, sobbing.
I did crouch down–slowly, gracefully.
But instead of tears… I pulled a thick stack

of paperwork from beneath the layers of my dress.
Invoices. Pay stubs. Years of overlooked bonuses and unpaid wages.
I stood up again and walked toward Alpha Zach, holding the papers with a steady hand.
“Well then, since it was all just a rehearsal, Alpha Zach–why don’t you take this opportunity to finally settle the commissions and back pay you owe me for all these years?”
