Chapter 49
Fate is a double–edged sword.
It gives you power with one hand-
And demands sacrifice with the other.
Standing atop the Celestial Altar, beneath the falling stars and silver moonlight, I finally understood:
I wasn’t meant to yield.
I was born to choose.
After the chaos of the chapel, the last Nightshade remnants were purged.
Aria was exiled.

Lunara did not appear again.
And Caelum, after sleeping for three days, finally opened his eyes.
When he did, the first word he spoke was:
“Mom.”
And in that moment, I knew-
No matter how twisted the future might become,
He was my answer.
Always.
But one man… disappeared entirely.
Noah Greaves, former Alpha of the North, heir to the Greaves line, was gone without a

trace.
Until word came from the frozen peaks of the Northern Exile.
He had walked alone into the ancient snows, bled upon the Stone of Vows, and carved a single line into the ice with his own hand:
“If you never forgive me, Sadie–then I will never die.”
The Council wanted to pursue him.
I said no.
“Let him go.”
“Exile wasn’t his punishment. It was his choice.”
Days later, the Celestial Altar opened.

It was the last remaining site of the Silver Moon Succession, a rite only granted to divine–bonded mothers and children.
Caelum stood beside me, tiny fingers wrapped around mine.
“Will you be there?” he asked softly.
“Always.”
Together, we stepped into the lunar circle.
Spirit light surged beneath our feet. Silver fire curled around my shoulders.
From Caelum’s body, soft rings of white energy expanded outward, his eyes glowing with twin moon sigils.
Gasps rose from the tribe watching below

And then–the Moon Decree rang clear across the peaks:
“Sadie Hale. Caelum Hale.”
“Dual souls. Twin marks.”
“From this day forth–recognized as the Silver Moon Dual Inheritors.”
After the rite, Rima rushed up, eyes filled with tears.
She threw her arms around me.
“You did it.”
“We all did.”
Talon stood at a distance, saluting with quiet

“You’re not someone’s Omega anymore,” he said.
“You’re the future of our kind.”
At sunset, snow fell gently across the mountains.
そう
I stood at the edge of the altar, watching the wind move through the frozen trees.
Riven came to stand beside me.
He reached out and took my hand–no rush, no pressure, just warmth.
He pressed my hand to his heart.
And in that silence, I heard his heartbeat like war drums.

“This time,” he whispered,
“We live not for survival…”
“But for dignity.”
I looked up at him.
Tears gathered at the corners of my eyes.
“We deserve that.”
【Epilogue】
Caelum grew strong, wise, and fierce.
The youngest spiritborn guide in Moonborn history.
As for me?

I was no longer someone’s mate.
No longer someone’s shadow.
I was chosen by the moon.
And more importantly-
I chose myself.
The flame of fate is extinguished.
But our story is only beginning.
