Chapter 65
“No, sorry. That night was the rst time I had met him.” Pandora let out a long breath, but strangely, she felt relieved that he didn’t
know Nemo.
“How do you two know each other?” Pandora asked, moving this conversation away from her and Vegas,
“She’s my boss,” Royce said with a grin, and she looked at Sia, who was to her surprise blushing.
“He’s a new employee at my workplace,” she toldra.
A minute go, she was
Pandora looked back at Sia, telling her she was sorry with her eyes.
acting disgruntled- what was up with that?
“Well, it’s been nice meeting you, sort of, again,” Royce commented, standing up. “See you tomorrow, Sia,” he said before he walked
away.
Sia turned and watched him, and her eyes moved to him, too. “He has a great ass, right?” Sia hummed.
Pandora tilted her head so that she could see Royce’s ass, and started nodding with a shrug. “Yeah, it’s nice.”
“Nice? That ass is biteable,” Sia told her and she raised her brow.
“Is he the reason we’re here?” Pandora asked as she looked at him sitting down at
Maybe? Pandora just sat there looking at Sia. “Order first, and then I’ll tell you.”

table with a girl.
She turned, looking at the waitress who was making her way over to them. As she ordered, she kept her eyes on Sia. “Well?” she asked as the waitress left them. Sia had broken up with her boyfriend a while back and Pandora knew this guy was eye candy. So…
He may have said that he was taking a girl here.” Pandora pressed her lips together, knowing that if she looked at Sia, she would spill more. “I really like him,” Sia admitted, but Pandora stayed silent and gave her the ‘come–on–spit–it–out‘ look.
“He broke up with his girlfriend just before he moved here, and some friend of his has been sending him out on blind dates.”
“Okay?” she said slowly and Sia dropped her head.
“Over the last few weeks, we’ve been talking and… fuck… I think I’m in love with him.”
Pandora’s mouth dropped open over the fact that Sia used the L–word when talking about a guy. That was something she hadn’t done in over ten years. “Sia,” she said, reaching over the table, but she shook her head at Pandora.
“I… this is killing me… to see him with some girl that’s half my age.”
Pandora rolled her eyes at her. “You’re only thirty–one,” she commented and glanced at Royce who was looking over at us. Pandora’s
eyes moved to his date. “She looks around twenty.”
“Yes, half my age.”
Pandora snorted, shaking her head. “Half your age is fifteen, and she is clearly older than that.”
“She is close enough, Sia hissed and pouted at Pandora.
“Sia, tell him. Ask him out,” Pandora insisted, feeling somewhat confused by her actions. The Sia she knew would have already made a play for him, without thinking twice about it.
I’m not sure. I mean, what if he says no?”

Pandora felt a tug at her heart as Sin sounded so unsure of herself, and she covered her hand. “Say no to you? Please, Sia, he has been looking at you the entire time he’s been here.”
“He has? Sia asked with such Hope that Pandora huffed.
“Yeah,” Pandora nodded at her. “Ask him out,” She winked, and Sia looked somewhat happier. She smirked as she ate dinner.
So far, Royce seemed more interested in what Sia and she were doing than his date. Much to her obvious annoyance. As for Sia, she moved her seat so that she could take a few sneak peeks at Royce.
Once they were finished with their meal, Sia walked her slowly back to her car. They both turned when they heard someone running up behind her.
“Hey, Sia, do you think I could get a lift?” Royce asked, squnding out of breath.
“Yeah, sure,” Sia said and then looked to the side of him. “Where’s your date?”
“Oh, she has her own car.”
“Okay, then, Sia replied, sounding happy. “Where do you live?” she asked as she looked at Royce dreamily.
“You know what?” Pandora interjected, having had enough.
“What?” Royce and Sia asked without taking their eyes off each other
“I’m tired, and I promised Sia a night out because she has been working so hard lately. I’m sure you know all about that?” He nodded at her. “So why don’t you take her out; have a few drinks, and make sure she gets home safely?”
Royce nodded in agreement.
“What about you?” Sia asked.
“I’ll take your car and you can pick it up tomorrow,” she informed Sia and the other gave her a silent ‘are–you–sure‘ look.
“That should be fine. I can drive us to the pub. I’ve heard it’s a great place for wine, beer, or cocktails.”
Pandora snorted over the fact that both Sia and Royce seemed to have forgotten that he was not supposed to have a car there.
“That sounds like a great plan,” Sia exclaimed, handing her the keys. Text me when you get home.”
Pandora nodded at her and got into the car. She silently giggled as Sia and Royce watched her drive off. As soon as she was out of sight of them both, she started to laugh. When she arrived home, she sent Sia a text letting her know I was home safe.
Locking up, she headed up to the bed, feeling completely wiped out.
Pandora was eating breakfast as she walked into Benjamin’s office.
“Enjoying that?” he asked her with a smirk.
“It’s so good,” she moaned out. “Want to try some?” she asked, straightening her hand with the bagel out toward him. Benjamin seemed to look at it before shrugging and leaning forward to take a small bite.
“Hmm, that tastes a lot better than it looks,” he complimented while chewing.
