The contraction that hit her brought her straight out of her mental debate to find that Milton was still on his cell.
“You want me to be doing what?” Milton gasped and looked sheer white as if he was in shock. “Pandora, I need to see if I can see…” he said, looking at her, and then down to her girlie bits.
He carried on looking at her girlie bits as he narrowed his eyes. Pandra snorted in laughter until another contraction ripped through her. If it weren’t so painful, she would be laughing her ass off at him.
“Milton, you dumbass, I still have my pants on, you aren’t going to see anything until they’re off she yelled at him and frowned as
she heard a muffled woman’s voice.
“All right, all right both of you, stop yelling at me. I catch criminals for a living, not birthing babies, how am I supposed to know?” Milton hissed, sounding a little embarrassed. Pandora was not sure if it was because she yelled at him or his wife had.
“I need to remove your pants,” he stammered and Pandora nodded at him. She really didn’t give a fuck as long as her boys were okay. Milton helped her shimmy them down. They were just off when another car’s headlights appeared.
“Thank fuck, it’s my wife,” he said.
“Milton,” she heard just as a small ass woman smiled over Milton’s shoulder.
“Hi, Alexis,” Pandora said as she looked at her, but she seemed to be in shock with her mouth opened as she looks at her.
“Alexis, this is Pandora. Pandora, this is my wife,” Milton said proudly as he turned his head “And this is-”
“Benjamin,” she said along with Milton.
“Pandora?” Benjamin yelled frantically once he saw her. “What? You just left the office? We agreed on three weeks, not three hours,” he carried on as he pushed Alexis and Milton out of the way.
“I’m sorry,” she blubbered out. “There was someone trying to steal my house and a bloody pig’s head in my fridge,” she continued, now sobbing. The feeling of being unable to control her emotions was strong and she was barely keeping herself together.
Benjamin wiped her tears as he looked at her, confused. “Let’s check what’s happening; we may be able to stop labor,” he said, moving to look between her legs. “Fuck!” he hissed loudly, but she already knew there was no stopping the boys from coming.
“We need to get her to my car. Milton, you’re going to have to drive us to the hospital. Alexis, you get on the phone with the ER. I need everyone ready, STAT,” he commanded, giving her a look.
Pandora closed her eyes, not wanting to believe that he thought her boys were in trouble or would be once they were born.
“It’s going to be okay, Pandora, I swear to you they’re going to be okay,” he told her in a promised whisper.
“Oh, fuck!” she yelled as another contraction hit her. Benjamin held her hand and breathed with her. “I’m scared,” she confessed while trying to stop crying. “This is my fault. I got so wound up with that man saying my house was his. I should have just given it to Derrik. It’s not worth losing my boys. Please, Benjamin,” she said, no longer being able to see him with the tears that were pouring out of her eyes.

Chapter 68
“You have to save my boys, please,” she continued, turning into a sobbing mess.
“Sweetheart, calm down; I will do everything I can and more, Benja in promised in her ear. “I promise you, Pandora, that He stopped talking and she felt a fresh wave of tears. Only, this time, it was Benjamin’s tears that hit her cheek.
She pushed her hand into his hair, holding him close to her.
‘You need to calm down, I know that you are afraid… really, I do. Som I, but please just try and calm down for me and for them.”
She moved her head a little so he knew she was trying. He kissed her head softly, and then pulled back and helped her move from Milton’s car to his, which was now parked parallel to Milton’s.
She let out a gasp when she saw that his back seat seemed to be all set up for her. “Milton and Alexis did this while we were talking, Benjamin told her as she laid back down.
“Okay, go,” Benjamin yelled as he stared down at her and groaned. “I need my contacts, Alexis,” he yelled, pulling off his glasses. His eyes flickered down at her and she swallowed, seeing he had grey eyes just like Nemo.
“Benjamin!” Alexis called, tapping his arm, and then handed Benjamin what must have been his contacts. She gripped the seat in pain as Benjamin turned away from her, putting them in.
“Your eyes are grey…” she trailed off as Benjamin returned to look at her but seemed to be puzzled. He opened and closed his mouth almost dumbfounded, and a new pain ripped through her. She screamed, making him refocus.
Looks like Jack wants to make his appearance,” he said.
Pandora huffed, holding her breath as she tried hard not to push, but it didn’t work, and he came anyway.
“Undo your top, Pandora,” Benjamin said as he rubbed Jack’s chest. Pandora did what he asked and held her sobs at bay. “Leonard baby one, male, six on the one minute APGAR, breathing slow, but steady,” he recorded and Pandora felt confused about what he was telling her.
Her eyes flashed to Alexis, who was holding her cell as she looked at her. Suddenly, she heard a voice coming from the cell repeating what Benjamin just said.
“Here you go, momma,” Benjamin whispered as he placed Jack on Pandora’s chest. He kept rubbing Jack’s cheek and his eyes moved to her necklace. He picked up her ring and seemed to hold it and then flipped it over her shoulder.
