Chapter 71
“Breast, she answered as she looked at her boys. A few weeks ago she was unsure, but Benjamin told her both the pros and cons of both options.
“The room across the hall has a chair and a breast pump so that you can express your milk. Make sure you label the bottles before putting them in the fridge.”
“What?” she stuttered. ‘Why is she talking about bottles?‘
“We store the breast milk in the bottles. For now, the boys will be fe through a tube. Once they can nurse, you will start doing that,” the nurse replied, and Pandora started to feel as if she had reached her limit.
“I’ll show her,” Benjamin announced and started to push her chair ou of the room. As soon as he pushed her into the new room, she started to cry into her hands.
“Hush, Pandora,” Benjamin whispered as he held her to him.
“This is not the way we planned it. It wasn’t meant to be like this,” she sobbed into his chest, and he sighed, rubbing her back.
“I know, sweetheart, I know.”
She sniffled and then took a deep breath and wiped her face. “Okay, show me how to express my milk,” she muttered, knowing full well she needed to get a grip and start dealing with what had happened.
Benjamin moved swiftly over to the counter and brought the breast pump. He opened a new attachment and showed her the new sterile bottles. She watched him put it all together and he talked her through the process. Then he handed it to her.
“I’ll leave you to it,” he said.
“Do you have to go?” she squeaked out. He shook his head and gave her a grin, but the door opened and Sia walked in.
“Oh my god, Pandora,” she cried out, hugging her. “Your dad is on his way; Keira and Ron went to your house to pack a bag for you, she said, taking a hold of Pandora’s hand.
“I’ll be back later, Pandora,” Benjamin whispered as he walked out the door.
“Shit, did I interrupt something?”
Pandora shook her head and leaned into her shoulder. “They are so small,” Pandora whispered. “And I have to use this so I can feed them.” She held up the breast pump.
“It’s going to be okay,” she told Pandora. “Besides, I may have good news,” she said with a forced smile.
“Oh?” Pandora hummed as she got her breast out and attached the pump to it.
Royce didn’t know Nemo, but he knows Nemo’s sister and brother–in–law. He says they live in this city and he’ll contact them ai ask them to tell Nemo you’re looking for him.”
Pandora closed her eyes as her thoughts swirled over the news. A few months ago, this would have been the best news ever, but now all she could see was Benjamin.
“That’s great,” Pandora commented weakly, knowing that despite her feelings for Benjamin, Nemo still had a right to know he was a father. More so now that the boys had been born.

Chapter 71
Pandora? Sia asked as she took hold of her hand.
I’m fine.” she replied, not feeling fine at all.
“No, you’re not, but I’ll let it be for now. Do you need anything right how?”
“Just you, Pandora sighed.
“I plan on sticking around, but Royce is here, too. If you want, I could send him out to get you something to eat or drink?”
“No, don’t think I could eat right now.”
She only managed to express a small amount, which made her break down again. After she calmed down, Sia wheeled her back into the room and they got cleaned up. Once they were clean and in gowns, she introduced Sia to the boys.
“They’re so cute,” she stated, and Pandora hummed in agreement.
Sia looked at her and paled a little. “Come on, we need to get you changed.”
Pandora frowned and then looked down to see that she had bled through the maternity panties and her hospital gown. “Shit, this is embarrassing. Benjamin brought me this stuff to change into,” she pouted.
“Well, no worries honey, I think the staff has seen this happen before. Sia laughed. “Come on, let’s go and get you washed and changed.”
Pandora nodded and turned back to the boys. “Momma will be back, she whispered to her boys.
Sia took her to the room, where Benjamin said she had to spend the night. Sia got clean supplies from the nurse’s station and helped Pandora wash up. The nurse came in and checked her uterus to make sure it was going down. She also took her vitals and said Pandora was doing great.
She offered Pandora pain meds, which she declined. Then, the nurse helped her to get redressed. Keira arrived as they were finishing up, and hugged Pandora right away.
She was back in the wheelchair because she wanted to go back to the boys.
“Have you had anything for pain?” Keira asked her.
She shook her head and Pandora sighed. “I’m getting that nurse back in here to get you something.”
“No, Keira, I just want to go back down to the boys,” Pandora begged her.
“Pandora,” Keira argued as her door burst open. She turned to see both Benjamin and Royce standing there.
“Hey, alphabet chick, congratulations,” Royce said, smiling at me.
“Thanks, Royce, I may need you to bring me some Jack later,” Pandora joked lightly.
“Dora?” Benjamin whispered and she turned to look at him.
Sia, Keira, you two come with me because you aren’t gonna believe this,” Ron interjected, walking in behind Benjamin and Royce. He winked at Pandora and then pulled the girls out.
“Hey, I’m sorry, Benjamin, but I bled through the other clothes you gave me. But the nurse helped clean me up and-”

Before she could finish what she was saying, Benjamin dropped to h knees. “I wished it was you, and now I am not sure if I wished so much that my mind is lying to me or not. But Royce said it is you he swears it was you.”
“What? Swore what was me?”
“It was you that I met and married in Vegas.”
