Chapter 73
“You’re not failing them,” he to her. She blinked, wondering how he knew what she was thinking. What you’re feeling is normal, it’s called the baby blues. Most new moms feel low just after giving Birth. Your hormones are all over the place. You’re not failing the boys at all; all things take time.”
“Okay,” she whispered, unsure if what she was feeling was related to her hormones.
“I’m here, Pandora, and I have my eyes on you, trust me.” She sighed in relief and he got up and resumed their way to the NICU.
“Stop,” Pandora said as they got to the door. “What do we fell them?
mean, I had just told them the father wasn’t here.”
“We’ll tell them the truth, that I am their father. Don’t worry. It’s going to be okay.”
“You’re what?” someone yelled loudly, and both Benjamin and Panda turned to see Alexis and Milton standing there with their mouths open.
“This is Pandora, my Dora from Vegas,” Benjamin stated.
“We know that; Royce was talking with her friend Ron. Ron was laughing about Benjamin being Nemo from Vegas. Milton said that must have meant… but the babies… are you sure?”
“Yes, it turns out we weren’t careful like I thought we were,” Benjamin carried on with
a
blush.
“Oh God, I saw my nephews being born,” Alexis gasped and Benjamin nodded at her. “Can I see them again?” she smiled, looking scary happy and that seemed to make Benjamin groan.
He looked down at her, and she just shrugged, nodding at him. She was his family, and that made her the twins‘ family, too.
“For a few minutes, and remember only two visitors are allowed per patient at a time.”
“I know,” Alexis hummed and walked over to her. “Hi, sis,” she kissed Pandora’s cheek. “I’m so glad he has found you; he was very heartbroken when you left him the next morning in Vegas,” she whispered in Pandora’s ear.
Milton stepped forward and she glared at him. “You’re a prick, why didn’t you tell me he was your brother?” Pandora asked and Milton just looked at her with a weird expression.
“If you two didn’t know who you were to each other, how did you expect me to know?”
“You said he was no fun and straight–laced. Oh my god, Jane,” she muttered, remembering the doll, and the texts. “Shit, Etexted you, and he said ‘my friend Jane‘!” She covered her mouth, feeling so stupid. Her Nemo was so close, but her embarrassment stopped her from finding out the truth.”
“Damn, that’s right,” Milton chuckled, clearly enjoying the situation more than he should be.
“You know about that… Jane?” Benjamin asked as his face turned red
Let’s just see our boys, and we can plan how to get revenge on Milton later,” Pandora hissed. She narrowed her eyes at Milton, but he just winked at her
“I freaking love that you’re my sister–in–law,” Milton proclaimed as he held the door open and Benjamin wheeled her in with Milton
and Alexis behind them.
They washed their hands and put on their gowns, before entering the NICU. Pandora was so excited to see the boys. The grin on her face was huge.

Chapter 73
“Alexis, Milton, this is my son lack, and this is my other son, Miche Benjamin announced as he pointed to each of the boys. Pandora felt her heart flutter at the sheer glee in his voice. If you to can look after my wife, I need to speak to the doctors and nurses for a moment.”
Benjamin walked away and her eyes followed him.
“You lied to me, Pandora,” Milton claimed in her ear and she turned to him. “You told me you didn’t come to the club,” he said, giving her a knowing look.
“Not now, Milton,” Alexis reprimanded, flicking his ear.
“Spoilsport,” he grumbled and pulled her against his side When are we going to have one?” he asked her, and she shook her head.
“Whenever you think you’re ready to take six months off of work took after him or her after I give birth.”
Pandora snorted when Milton’s face fell at Alexis‘ reply. “Fine,” he sighed. “If that’s what has to happen then I agree.
Alexis turned, looking at him and they started kissing as if no one was around, making Pandora blush at their PDA.
“You two, knock it off,” Benjamin said, moving to her side.
“Pandora, Dr. Parks just told us he’s the father?” The nurse voiced in a way that made it sound as if she didn’t believe her own
words
“That’s right, he is, and if you can put his family down for visitation as well, that would be great.”
She nodded at Pandora and started to walk away, and her eyes seemed to go to the Leonard name tags on the beds. “Excuse me, nurse,” she called and the other turned around. “Could you change the boys‘ name tags to Parks?”
Pandora’s eyes flickered to Benjamin, who was grinning broadly. He leaned over, kissing her lips, and right away, her hands went
into his hair.
“Hey, knock it off you two,” Milton mimicked Benjamin’s words from moments ago.
Benjamin pulled back and chuckled. She heard the door open and her eyes flashed over to see Ron standing there. He walked in and peered at the boys.
“They are beautifu, Pandora.”
“I’m sorry, there are too many people in here, and someone needs to leave. The nurse said softly.
“Don’t worry, I’m going,” Ron told her and looked back at Pandora. “I put your bags in your room.” His eyes shifted from her and he looked at Milton. “Detective, can I have a word?”
“Ron?” She called, knowing something was up.
“It’s fine,” Ron replied but she knew he was just trying to reassure her
“Is it my dad or Nina?”
Ron shook his head No one’s hurt, well not yet they’re not.”
Pandora sighed, knowing that Derrik had done something else. “If you can deal with it, then do so,” she told Ron as she had enough on her plate to worry about.
