Chapter 1
For some reason, tonight, Alpha Albert seemed drunk.
“Alpha Albert, you’re biting me too hard.”
Hearing my words, Alpha Albert looked up at me, his gaze hazy and unfocused.
He released his grip, his hand cupping my face gently as he murmured, “Sini.”
The drowsiness I’d been feeling vanished instantly.
Sini!
I remembered her–an Omega from the pack, always wearing a radiant smile.

Alpha Albert continued to mumble, “Sini, I miss you so much. If only you were my Luna.”
Hearing his words was like a knife twisting in my heart.
I thought back to the day of our mating process when Alpha Albert gently bit my neck and whispered softly to me, “You will be my Luna.”
For the first time, I refused Alpha Albert.
The next morning, when Alpha Albert finally sobered up, I gazed into his brown eyes and softly asked, “What is your relationship with Sini?”
To my surprise, the usually calm and composed Alpha Albert reacted as if I had struck a nerve.

“Why are you bringing her up?”
Alpha Albert’s tone was laced with panic as he glanced around, his eyes quickly scanning the area to ensure no one was nearby before turning to question me, as though I had no right to ask.
I hadn’t expected such a strong reaction from him, and an unsettling thought suddenly crept into my mind.
“Last night, you called out Sini’s name,” I said. “You said only she deserves to be your Luna.”
Alpha Albert froze, realizing his murmurs had been overheard. After a brief silence, he decided to admit it outright.
“If you heard it, there’s nothing left to hide,”

he said coldly. “In my heart, my true mate has always been Sini.”
His words hit me like a crushing blow, and in that moment, everything began to make sense–the pitiful looks I often received from the other Omegas whenever I went to find Sini within the pack.
I opened my mouth to respond, but the man who once indulged my every word now gazed at me with impatience, as though the affection he’d shown before had all been a façade.
“You shouldn’t leave the house for the time being,” Alpha Albert said with authority. “I don’t want to hear any rumors about Sini spreading through the pack.”
With that, he confiscated my keys and belongings, severing all my connections to

the outside world.
“Alpha Albert, you can’t do this to me!” I protested angrily. “I’m your Luna–I’m supposed to help you lead the pack.”
But my words carried no weight. Alpha Albert wasn’t the least bit moved by my defiance.
“No one will object,” he replied, his voice firm. “Use this time to reflect on yourself.”
Without another glance, he turned and walked away.
The sound of the door locking behind him echoed in my ears.
That entire day, I searched desperately for a way to escape the room.
But luck wasn’t on my side. In this pack,

aside from Alpha Albert, I had no one I could turn to.
If I disappeared, no one would care.
In the evening, Alpha Albert returned, reeking of alcohol.
Just like the night before, there wasn’t a shred of tenderness in his actions. His sharp fangs sank into the fragile skin of my neck.
Perhaps now that I knew his true feelings, Alpha Albert didn’t even bother to hide anymore.
“Sini,” he murmured, his hands cupping my face as he kissed me deeply.
Tears streamed down my face as I endured Alpha Albert’s torment.

I knew that these days marked Sini’s age -the time when the Moon Goddess would choose a mate for her.
I figured that must be the reason behind Alpha Albert’s strange behavior lately.
Noticing my tears, Alpha Albert struck me hard across the face.
“Don’t cry,” he commanded, his icy tone a stark contrast to the tenderness he’d shown moments ago while kissing me.
Seizing the moment, I bit Alpha Albert as hard as I could.
But how could a weak Omega like me possibly stand a chance against a powerful

In no time, Alpha Albert had subdued me
