Boone Vip Road all SVP stories
In the past, my assessment of Liam Winters was: a despicable wild dog.
Unlike me, he wasn’t born into a prominent family, but had clawed his way to the top on his own.
They say people who crawl out of the dog–eat–dog world will do anything to grab resources.
Liam was exactly like that.
Unyielding and infuriating.

I recalled taunting him years ago when he snatched a deal from me in a fit of anger and humiliation.
Liam replied carelessly: “Want to keep me? Miss Rose is probably too poor to afford it.”
But tonight, seeing Liam lose control gave me a strange sense of satisfaction.
How does that saying go…
I get to enjoy for free, without spending a dime.
Liam had always been obsessively clean.
When we finally reveal our true colors, I’m not sure who will mock the other more – him laughing at me, or me laughing at him.
My thoughts were suddenly scattered by the force from behind.
Liam’s lazy, deep voice came from behind: “Distracted?”
His hot, moist breath fanned across my skin.
I instinctively bit my lip, unconsciously taunting: “Are you… starving or something?”
Liam paused, then chuckled softly. The sound rippled through the night like ripples on water.
“Alright.”
One word, with no further comment.
What remained was only passionate intensity tinged with cruelty.
The next morning, I struggled to wake from my dreams.
My whole body ached more and more intensely.
J gritted my teeth and sat up, feeling for the phone that had fallen to the floor.
After switching to a private number, messages from William Hughes popped up on the screen.
“Miss Rose, it’s done.”
“Also, Jack Moore has defected to us and sent over some things.”
Jack Moore, who worked closely with Liam and helped him build his business from scratch, was like a brother to him.
But for the past six months, he’d been frequently arguing with Liam.
Seemingly over unequal profit sharing.
I had made some moves regarding Jack, not expecting results so soon.
I took a moment before asking: “What things?”
Evidence of Liam Winters stealing trade secrets. This time we can definitely put him away.”
My first thought was that this was a trap set by Liam himself.
A pitfall specifically meant for me.
After pondering for a moment, I said: “Send it to my email. I’ll review it personally.”
William panicked: “Miss Rose, don’t hesitate-”

“Do as I say.”
I had just hung up when the door was pushed open.
Liam stood in the doorway, staring at my darkened phone screen, asking softly: “Who were you calling?”
I hurriedly hid the phone. “No one.”
Liam narrowed his eyes and walked towards me.
I planted my foot on his approaching knee, frowning. “It hurts…”
“What hurts?”
Liam hadn’t reacted yet.
“What do you think hurts?” My ears turned red. “It’s my first time experiencing this kind of thing, can’t I ask someone about it…”
Recalling last night’s intensity, I still felt a lingering fear.
Liam froze, his voice tight. “Is this something you should be asking others about?”
He gripped my foot, bending down to slip it into a slipper. “Get up, I’ll take you to see a doctor.”
