After a quick shower and throwing on a light sundress, I grabbed my sandals and slipped them on, then headed out to the pool area. I made my way down the hallway, feeling a rush of excitement as it had been a while since I had such moments with Gavin

1 slipped off my sandals and dipped my toes into the cool water, letting out a small gasp.
“Come on in! It’s refreshing!” Gavin urged, splashing some water in my direction.
“Alright, alright!” 1 laughed, deepening my legs further into the pool until the water reached my knee. We began to playfully splash each other, our laughter echoing around us.
“So, how’s your new post in the pack?” I asked, trying to steer a light conversation.
“It’s going great! I mean really great. And Pierre that dude is overly supportive of whatever I’m doing.” he said, a proud smile on his face. “Despite how I almost destroyed his face the time he sneaked into your room, he has been trying so much to get close to me. And I would say, it’s all working for my good.”
“He is probably trying to atone for his sins,” I added, my head resting comfortably against Gavin’s shoulder.
“That’s exactly what I thought too. Not to mention the fact that he won’t stop asking abouk you, I bet he realised just how much he fucked up.”
“Can we talk about something else, this whole Pierre thing just feels so boring and annoying.” 1 requested clearly tired of the subject matter.
“What else could we possibly discuss concerning my life? You’re the one with all the drama, you should be the one scrolling through topics” Gavin. teased
“Don’t be silly,” I said, nudging him playfully
Just as we continued with our banter, I felt a sudden presence behind us. “There you are!” A booming voice resounded behind us.

The three of us blended so easily, talking and laughing as we strolled along the poolside. I felt a sense of normalcy, a welcome distraction from the thans of ΠΙ
life.
Since Gavin initially thought to stroll around the palace and even the Kingdom, so, we decided that now would be the best time. But that was after I had safely handed my portrait to a maid to keep for me.
