Chapter 67
Gemini’s POV
I stayed up, watching the ceiling as several thoughts raced through my mind. I picked up Asher’s phone, which lay carelessly by the side of the bed. Curosary mingled with fear in my heart as 1 hesitated, my fingers hovering over the screen.
“Can pregnancy be teminated by sex?” I typed into the search bar, my heart pounding in my chest. Relief washed over me as I scrolled through the answers that danced across the screen. “Thank goodness, I almost got scared,” I muttered to myself, feeling a weight lift just a like..
Suddenly, Asher’s voice echoed through the room, breaking my moment of solitude. “Geminil Get me a towel!”
sprang up, searching for where his towel could possibly be. How come he forgot to take one in with him? I scanned the wardrobe until my eyes fell on a pile of towels, 1 hurriedly grabbed one, chutching it tightly as I rushed back to him
“Here!” I called out, urging him to take the towel
Instead of opening the door slightly, he let it fall wide open. I swallowed hard as I forced my eyes to focus on his face. “What?” He asked, snatching The towel from my hand.
I shook my stiff head. “Nothing” I said, hurrying back to the bedroom.

I didn’t hesitate, grabbing a shirt of his which I quickly threw on, following him. The sound of growls and snarls filled and my fear heightening.
As we reached the door, Asher turned to me. “Stay safe, Gemini. I’ll be back.”
With that, he was gone, disappearing into the chaos outside. I took a deep breath trying to calm my racing mind.
“Goddess, please protect Asher.” I whispered, shutting my eyes tight, the fear clawing at my insides.
air, making my skin crawl
was like I could already foresee him getting hurt or even dying. The weird feeling in my chest refused to leave, clothing me like a heavy garment. 1 clamped my hands together, my prayers and fear lingering in the empty space,
The place was really a safe room because no sound came in and no sound went out. It was perfect for the fact that no one could think that I was there, but the fact that I couldn’t hear the chuos outside made my blood boil I didn’t know if it was still on, if it had been resolved or if everyone in the pack had died.
Suddenly, a load of pain shot through my sides, “Fuck!” I yelled.
