When I arrived, Jack had been waiting for a long time.
“The police said they’ve caught Luna, but they don’t know where she hid the child.”
Hearing this, I trembled all over and rushed into the interrogation room.
The moment I laid eyes on Luna, I slapped her hard across the face.
“Tell me where my child is! Give my child back to me!”
Luna was stunned by my blow, jumping to her feet and screaming at me with reddened eyes, “Sarah, how dare you accuse me! Andy will not let you off!”

She laughed defiantly, the handcuffs clinking as she moved.
I shook with rage, my body quaking uncontrollably. If the police hadn’t held me back, I would have lunged at her the moment she finished speaking, ready to tear her apart.
Luna’s refusal to reveal the whereabouts of the child stems from her stubborn intention of not acknowledging her responsibility.
The police had immediately set out to search my baby but needed time.
