“Alpha Lucas! Is it true, the rumor about you and Sophia?”
“Does your mate know about this affair?”
“Word is she’s left–was she forced to leave?”
“Alpha Lucas, did your late brother know about the secret passage to his house?”
Lucas’s face darkened. He didn’t say a word; he shoved through the crowd and stormed inside.
“Emily!” He called my name, his voice echoing in the empty room.
No response.
Panic shot through him. Lucas raced

through the hall, throwing open every door, checking every corner–butt everything was
gone.
The closet was empty. My skincare products had vanished from the vanity. Eventthe photo we once proudly displayed on the bedside table was gone.
The only thing left was the Mate Bond termination agreement, neatly placed omtthe coffee table, signed and stamped like amend he never saw coming.
Lucas dropped to his knees, as if the weightt of everything had finally crushed him.
“Alpha…” A beta hesitated, stepping forward,, holding something in his hands. “Luna Emily… she asked me to give this to you.”
It was a letter. Lucas opened it with shaking

hands. Inside… was the journal he’d locked away in the safe.
On the final page, the neat handwriting read:
“Lucas, I wish you and Sophia a lifetime together, never to part… may you never be freed from each other’s side.”
Lucas’s hand trembled even harder. He clutched his head, gasping in pain.
“No… Emily, it’s not like this… please don’t leave me..”
He couldn’t even begin to describe the tearing sensation in his chest. Regret? Guilt? Or something worse–real loss.
Outside, the noise intensified. Then, a sharp, screeching voice echoed from upstairs.

“Hello, everyone! I’m live in Alpha Lucas’s bedroom at Golden Crescent Pack! Look -there’s a hidden passage leading to his closet!”
Lucas’s head whipped up. On the phone’s screen, the live feed was already up–an undercover reporter in a maid outfit sneaking in, selfie stick in hand, broadcasting his personal humiliation to the world.
Moments later, the media stormed in, pushing past the Warriors, heading straight for his master bedroom.
And there it was.
The hidden passage, completely exposed.
“OMG… the walls are covered with photos of Alpha Lucas and his sister–in–law, Sophia… disgusting!”

In the chaos, the journal slipped from Lucas’s hands, falling to the floor.
Someone picked it up, stared at the page, and instantly recognized it. “Wait–this is the leaked journal, right? The one former Luna Emily exposed?”
Lucas lunged, desperate, trying to grab the journal back, but the crowd blocked him. The pages turned faster than he could reach them.
As they flipped through, their expressions twisted with anger.
One reporter spun around, gagging in disgust.
The live chat exploded with messages. Comments flooded in like a tidal wave, the

viewer count rising by the second–already over a million.
Through it all, Lucas stood frozen, helpless, humiliated, utterly alone.
When Lucas finally regained some control, he shoved through the crowd, snatching the journal from the reporter’s hands. With a roar of rage, he tore the journal to pieces–page by page, the fragments scattering.
But it was too late.
The live stream had gone viral. His dirty secrets were no longer hidden behind walls or in the shadows. They were out in the open, broadcasted on screens around the world.
There was no erasing the truth now, no undoing the facts carved into public

memory.
The reporters didn’t let up, firing off questions one after another.
“Mr. Alpha Lucas, was your so–called ‘platonic marriage‘ just a cover for this scandal?”
“Did you make Ms. Emily the Luna of Golden Crescent Pack just to hide your obsession with your sister–in–law?”
“Have you even thought about the damage you’ve done to Ms. Emily, using her as a pawn in your sick game?”
Lucas stood there, facing a storm of flashes, his face pale, sweat dripping down his
forehead.
He opened his mouth to speak–but nothing

came out.
What was there to say? The photos. The journal. The passage. Everything Emily exposed was real, undeniable.
His voice trembled, “I… I hurt my mate… I’m a failure.”
As soon as the words left his lips, a flood of questions came rushing in.
Yet, the one person he wanted to answer -the only one who truly mattered–had already left.
