Caleb’s laughter echoed as he wrapped an arm around Hailey’s waist, pinching her bottom. “You’re just a little pest, aren’t you? No wonder Ethan couldn’t let go of you before.”
Ethan, struggling to push himself off the ground, watched the couple walk away. His gaze darkened, the weight of his own words hanging in the air. “Only when you truly lose everything will you realize if the person beside you is human… or a ghost.”

Ethan staggered into a nearby villa. From inside, the sounds of moans filled the air. His hands shook as he grabbed a rope, sneaking behind the man. In one swift motion, he looped the rope around Caleb’s neck and yanked it tight.
“Ah! Help!” Hailey screamed, her voice rising in panic.
Caleb’s face flushed a deep purple as he gasped for air, stretching his hand toward Hailey. Desperately, he reached out for help, but Hailey stood frozen, unable to make a sound, her eyes wide with shock.
With a final tug, Ethan let go of Caleb’s body, stomping on his head. “You dared touch Chloe. You dared humiliate her. You deserve nothing less than this.”

tried to inch her way out of the room. But in a split second, Ethan seized her by the hair, yanking her back toward Caleb’s lifeless body.
