Chapter 09
Someone in the crowd had recorded the entire scene of Phoenix kneeling and apologizing.
I coldly rang the bell and called the nurse to have Molly removed.
Molly continued her act of repentance as she was carried away by her former colleagues.
The person filming in the crowd made eye contact with me; he was the reporter I had hired from a marketing account.
I sent him the video of Edward hitting Molly, along with everything I had collected.
That night, over a dozen marketing accounts

released the footage.
“A mistress trying to replace the original wife sends a terrifying toy, causing the eight–month–pregnant woman to go into premature labor, resulting in the baby’s suffocation.”
The story exploded instantly, with people flooding the comment sections to discuss it.
The reporter even conducted a live–streamed interview with me.
In the video, many people poured into the live stream, and when they saw my haggard face, the comments flooded with sympathy.
“Ms. Flores, why did you open an unfamiliar gift package?”
I told them the whole story about my past
with Edward, explaining how I had spent so long preparing for this year’s Christmas, how heartbroken I was when Edward said he wouldn’t come home.
“At that moment, I did suspect he was with Molly, but I was afraid it was another misunderstanding, like last time.”
But as it turns out, last time wasn’t a misunderstanding either.”
“I thought Edward truly felt guilty, so he bought me a gift. He used to do that whenever he messed up–he’d buy me gifts to make up for it.”
“That’s why I opened it without suspicion.”
Finally, in front of the camera, I couldn’t hold back my tears. The regret was evident in my sobs.
“How could I have known that Molly would send me a gift in Edward’s name, and that my baby…”
I was choked with emotion, unable to continue, as the comments exploded in fury.
“That’s too much! The mistress should be sentenced!”
“I can’t stand this, this world has gone mad, they even kill babies!”
“I watched the video, both of them are gynecologists. One deliberately scares the pregnant woman, and the other ignores her cries for help. Isn’t this his child too?”
The situation escalated rapidly, and the online outrage grew louder.

Some people reached out to offer their help, saying they could assist with a lawsuit,
forcing the scumbag to leave empty–handed. While Molly couldn’t be convicted, they could make her pay dearly for what she did, as compensation for the emotional toll.
I politely declined their offers.
I didn’t want money; I just wanted them to get what they deserved.
