Yet, it was this very notion that solidified my belief that Alpha Chandler was the murderer.
Unfortunately, no matter how much I investigated, it all appeared to be just an accident.

Alpha Chandler’s face turned beet red.
I chose not to say another word.
I got into the car and instructed the driver to drive.
Through the rearview mirror, I took in Alpha Chandler’s ridiculous, clownish face.
“Miss Alpha Cersei, where are we headed?”
The driver’s question pulled me back to reality.
I had initially intended to return to the Pack headquarters, but suddenly, I wasn’t in the mood for it.

With a sigh, I found myself desperate to see my mate.
“Take me to the cemetery.”
It was tranquil here, just me and Harvey.
I quietly embraced Alpha Harvey’s
gravestone, the cold stone stealing warmth from my body.
I caressed my true mate, my mind racing back over recent events.
A lingering worry gnawed at me: Would Harvey be pleased with everything I’ve done?
He was simply too kind; I couldn’t bring
