Chapter 5
But sadly, I couldn’t recall who this gentleman was.
One thing was clear, though–he was undeniably handsome.
That Italian haute couture black suit he wore was impeccably tasteful.
I thought about the ordinary men Donovan had introduced to me recently–of course, he believed they were all wealthy and handsome, perfect for warming my bed as lovers.
But I wasn’t interested in them at all.
Maybe, to avoid upsetting Donovan, I should try to take a step forward.
So, I didn’t stop his movement but quietly made my way around to the other side.
At the King’s Hotel in the United Kingdom of Golden Moon, there was a private lounge reserved just for me.
It was a spacious 500 square meters, complete with a beauty room, yoga studio, and swimming pool.
I first indulged in a facial massage in the beauty room, then changed into my swimsuit and headed for the swimming pool.

As I approached the pool, a sweet chamomile scent wafted toward me.
My scent, a blend of chamomile and water jasmine, filled the air.
When I breathed it in, my tired body relaxed even more— was far more effective than the facial massage.

My wolf, Tina, stretched lazily.
My Goddess, I believe there are at least a hundred bouquets of chamomile and water jasmine ahead.
Do you think they’re from that gentleman? I’m already looking forward to it.
It’s nothing special, just the usual cliché.
If it was just that, I would probably be a bit disappointed.
As we talked, I reached the edge of the pool, and my eyes widened in surprise.
Before me wasn’t just a few bouquets–it was an entire sea of romantic flowers.
They almost covered the entire swimming pool, and there were even flowers floating on the surface of the water.
My Goddess, did this really come from that gentleman?

I began to feel a surge of curiosity…

“Beautiful Ms. Hilton, I hope you enjoy this.” came a graceful, noble voice from behind me.
I turned to see the handsome man in a finely tailored Italian suit, golden hair, and golden eyes, pushing a mobile cart toward
- me.
On the exquisite golden cart, there was a lifelike chamomile cake, a water jasmine bouquet beside it, along with steak, red wine, and beautifully crafted scented candles.
“You must be tired. Why don’t you sit down, have a bite, and enjoy some wine?”
His voice was warm and charming, as gentle as a spring breeze.
With all of this, I figured I wouldn’t need to swim to unwind
anymore.
I took the silk coat he handed me, wrapping it around my body.
The atmosphere was so perfect that it made my face flush a little -I couldn’t help but feel shy.
When our eyes met, something almost magical glimmered in his golden gaze–like starlight shining through the night.

Then… the problem came.
“Sorry, but what’s your name? Donovan never mentioned you,” I asked, feeling slightly confused.
Disappointment flickered in his eyes.
“I’m not just one of those backup lovers, Aurora.
“Actually, we’re old friends.”
Old friends?
I was taken aback.
He smiled faintly, holding back his disappointment.
“Yes, Aurora… but I know, you’ve forgotten me.
“But it’s okay. Now that you’re back, we can start fresh.”
His golden eyes were full of love as he dropped to one knee, extending his hand toward me with a gentleman’s grace.
“Ms. Hilton, let’s reintroduce ourselves.
“I’m your Fated Mate, Orlando Blackthorne.”
I froze.
It was… him?
