Chapter Eleven – I don’t understand. -1

I wake after a couple of hours of interrupted sleep. I don’t understand why, but something about Alys being next to me seemed to have helped. I did not have another nightmare. She is probably the rst one not to run or say some snide remark after experiencing me having a nightmare. It is the reason I don’t allow any one to stay If I am hooking up, I either go to theirs or hook a hotel so i can leave. My other relationships with my past submissive were a le different. They stayed over two nights a week, but I didn’t sleep when they were. No one needs to see me like that.
I sigh and carefully climb out of bed. I will leave Alyssa to sleep. It is only six. She can have another hour. It gives me time to wash and dry her clothes and make her a decent breakfast to keep her going until lunch. I lift her clothes on my way out. I glance over at her before I exit the room. Why have I noticed how beautiful she is? Even without make–up. She looks prettier without it. I give myself a shake and close the door.
I can’t believe I told her I was adopted and some other information, have never told anyone those things. Unlike the others, I guess it is because she stuck around long enough to make sure I was okay. I hate showing my vulnerable side. I hope she doesn’t bring it up or ask me any more questions. I don’t want to discuss it gain. I shouldn’t have told her. She better keep her promise and not tell anyone about it. If she does, she will no longer have a job.
I push it to the back of my mind and stroll to the kitchen. I look at what to make and decide on a cheese, red pepper, and spinach omelette alongside a banana and coconut smoothie and, of course, coffee.
I put her clothes into the washer before starting breakfast for us. I take a mug of coffee to drink while I cook. Coffee fuels me since I don’t sleep much. I need something to keep me going. It has worked thus far.
In the middle of cooking, I hear her come downstairs and approach the kitchen.
“Um, where are my clothes?” she asks.
I turn to face her and take the view in. Damn, she looks good in my clothes. I lick my lips as my eyes admire her. She tugs at my tee. I should stop staring.
“They are in the washer. I will dry them, too, and you can put them back on before I take you home.” I reply.
She nods, “Can I help with anything?”
I shake my b
head, “No, get a coffee and take a seat. I can manage.”
Alyssa pours herself a coffee and takes a seat at the breakfast bar.
“Did you
manage to fall back asleep?” she asks softly.
“Yes, for a couple of hours. How did you sleep?”
She doesn’t need to
ed to know that those couple of hours are the best I have had.
“I slept okay.” She replies.
1 plate up our breakfast and join her at the breakfast bar.
“Tuck in. After breakfast, once I shower, I will take you home to change, and then we can go into the office.”
“We can’t show up at the office together, Wyatt. People will think something is going on between us, and there isn’t.” she protests.

She smiles and starts on her breakfast. She groans, enjoying it. I am happy to see her enjoying my food. She doesn’t speak a single word to me as she rats. At least 1 kwww she has had a proper meal to start the day, I will make sure she does the same at lunchtime. She will be eating three meals today because she will be coming back here to stay since we leave tomorrow. She still doesn’t know yet she will be spending the night here.

I pull up outside of Alyssa’s apartment building.

“What, why? You don’t need to, I’m going to shower and get ready for work.”
“Before you do that, you are going to pack your case for the weekend Including swimwear, since there are pools there. And you can give it to me. That way, you don’t need to come back home tonight. You can come straight to mine.” I smile.
“I am not staying with you again tonight. I stayed last night, I will also be staying with you tomorrow night and Sunday. Why two nights if the wedding isn’t until Sunday?” she asks,

She groans, tossing her hands in the air, “You are impossible.”
She climbs out of the car and rushes inside. I chuckle and follow her. It will make comes to stay with me. She ignores me on the walk up to her place.

“More shopping? Why y can’t I take what I already own.” She whines.
“Fine, no more shopping for you. I will talk to my

“How much is that going to cost you? You have spent enough.” She sighs.
“Don’t worry about the cost. I will get what you need. All you need to pack is underwear, sleepwear, toiletries and any comfortable clothes you want to wear while we are in the hotel room. I will get everything else, including swimwear.” I smile.

“Okay. I will take it with me and leave you to prepare for work.”
“Thank you. Do you want me to bring you a coffee?”
“No, it is okay. I will pick one up on the way. I will see you soon.”

I grab her case and head out. It can stay in my trunk until later. It is light, which means there should be room left for the clothing 1 will buy for her later.
