Chapter Forty–Three Later than planned.

The plan to stay for only a short time didn’t work. Despite our effort, we were unable to get away early. It’s close to two in the morning. I never expected to stay this late. I thought we would be done by eleven or earlier.
“We should have left when we had the chance.” Wyatt says, irritated as we make our way back to his in the car.
I felt bad he called a driver to come and get us at this time. I suggested splitting an Uber, but Wyatt refuses to take public transportation. It was unwise to argue with him.

“I had plans for us tonight, but now we need to wait because we have work in the morning. This weekend, you are mine. You will come to mine after work on Friday and stay until Monday,” he says firmly.

Despite my nerves, I hide them and wear a straight face, determined not to reveal any weakness or give up on what I want. I am not asking for much. As he gazes at me, I nervously chew on my inner direk.
Wyatt’s fingers press into my thigh, giving it a gentle squeeze. “I had planned on doing that tonight, but we left too late. This weekend, I’ll show it to you, and we can have fun if you’re interested”
“Really? You won’t change your mind, will you, this time?”
He’s made me wait too long as it is.
“No, unless you give me a reason not to show you.” He smirks, running his hand further up my thigh..
I shut my eyes and moan, “I promise to be a good girl.”
He squeezes my thigh once more. “We will see. I have heard that before.”
I promise to try my best to behave. If I don’t do it, he will use it to punish me. I flash my sweetest smile at him. I have doubts about whether he thinks I can behave. My intention is to prove him wrong. I’ll behave until I get what I desire, then I’ll be naughty and push my limits.
He reaches over and kisses me intensely. As I clutched his shirt in my hand, I let out a moan of pleasure. He pulls away from the kiss and I huff in protest at the loss of contact.

I don’t doubt his word. I am sure I won’t meet another man like his When our thing ends, other men will disappoint, and he will bear the blame. There may be others like him, but I doubt I’ll find them.

“Get some rest, beautiful. I’ll wake you when we arrive at nine.”
I shake my head. “I am fine.”
“You seem tired. I suggest you get some sleep. Use me as a pillow.”
I intend to protest once more, but another yawn slips out before I can, Feeling defeated, I let out a sigh and reluctantly give in. With my head leaning against his shoulder, he drapes his jacket over me and gently slips one of his arms around my shoulders. I close my eyes, but there is a chance 1 will not sleep. I am comfortable, though.

Next thing know, I am being softly shaken. I groan, “Sleeping.”
“We have arrived, kitten. Do I need to carry you inside?”
With a giggle, I respond, “Yes,”
I’ll stop him, but I’m curious if he’ll agree.
“Sure, I am capable of doing that.”

It’s not surprising that he agreed to it. He chuckles, and the driver opens the door for us. Wyatt climbs out first and gives me a handout. We thank the driver. As he leads us inside, Wyatt slips his arm around my waist, holding me close.
“A quick shower and straight to bed. We are up soon for work.” He exclaims as we enter.
“Where am I sleeping? Your bed or in the spare room?”
I always ask because he is still hesitant about sharing a bed.
“My bed.”
I smile, and he leads us straight there. I am fine with that. I can’t wait to get into bed. Yes, the vibrating panties have been fun, but I’m eager to take them off. He takes out something for each of us to sleep in before taking my hand and leading me to the shower.
Wyatt switches the shower on, and we strip down.
“Ladies first and keep your hands to yourself. You need rest, not sex
I nod, not arguing with him, and step in first. He follows and makes sure we get straight to cleaning ourselves up. In and out within ten minutes. He wraps a towel around me first before doing the same for himself. I love sex with him, but I am glad he doesn’t want It tonight. I am too tired, and it isn’t like we haven’t had it today.
Once he returns to his bedroom, we dry off and change. He comes to stand in front of me.

Chapter Forty–Three – Later than planned.
I look at him confused, “Why?”
“To do your hair.”
Ahh, I forget he enjoys doing that. With a smile, I turn to face the opposite direction. He brushes and French braids my hair like he did the last time. He leans in and gently places his lips on my neck paving a lingering kiss. “Get into bed.”

I am told, and he praises me before he joins me. Sleep will quickly take over for me, anyway. I am not sure how it will go for him. He commands the light to go off and pulls me to him. He brings one of my legs over him and I lay my head on his chest.

“There’s no need to worry about me.”
If he doesn’t sleep, he won’t wake me up, but I want him to know the offer is there. He is used to struggling by whatever it is going through it alone. He doesn’t have to, but he is a proud man. It’s possible he will never reveal his past to me, and I respect his
choice.
I choose to stay silent because I don’t want to irritate him. I shut my eyes and wait for sleep to take over me,
