“Elizabeth, fancy seeing you here! Are you alone? Kieran asked cheerfully, glancing around.
Elizabeth pursed her lips, feeling a bit helpless. She didn’t expected to run into someone she knew at the club.
“I’m with Lila,” she said, pointing to a nearby booth.
Kieran looked over and saw Lila engrossed in her phone. Even in a crowded bar, she stood out.
