Unrepairable Love
Chapter 603
Natalia kept her head down, munching quietly without saying a word
Rose chimed in, “Hey everyone, dig in! Don’t let their squabbling bother you. Even though Natalia was brought back by Charles, she’s one of us now.” Declan grinned and added some food to Natalias plate. “Natalia, don’t mind what Elizabeth said. I’ll have a word with her later.”
Natalia’s mood lifted, and she smiled. “Declan, you’re the best.”
Declan just smiled back.
Honestly, Natalia wasn’t a bad kid, just a bit pampered.
“Alright, let’s raise a toast to Natalia for a proper welcome home.” Declan suggested.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
Grant and Celine exchanged warm smiles with the
group.
Elizabeth hesitated before picking up her glass.
Declan shot her a look, silently telling her to let it go.
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow but relented. “Fine.”
She clinked glasses with Natalia.
Natalia stayed silent, sipping her juice with a hint of annoyance.
Elizabeth gave her a cold smile but didn’t say anything.
“So, are you planning to head out again after this visit?” Celine asked Natalia.
Natalia shook her head. “No, Grandma. I’m staying put. I need a break for a month or two.”
“Good, you need the rest,” Celine nodded seriously. “If you don’t want to stay at home, you can stay with me. I’ll be around for a while.”
“Awesome, I can take care of you, Grandma,” Natalia beamed. She treasured every moment with Celine.
After all, being adopted made her extra grateful for Celine’s kindness
“Alright.” Celine nodded.
The room fell silent.
Just then, the waiter brought the last dish, and laughter drifted in from outside. “Who cares about Alexander? Sure, he’s impressive, but didn’t he still end up kneeling to Elizabeth? I can’t stand him!”
Elizabeth’s ears perked
- up.
The voice was familiar—it was Kyle,
Chapter 603
No one really knew why, but Kyle and Alexander were always at each other’s throats.
“Is he talking about Mr. Tudor kneeling to Elizabeth?” Natalia suddenly asked.
Everyone turned to look at her.
Natalia continued, “I saw that news abroad too. Honestly, Alexander should’ve knelt to Elizabeth.”
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow.
Natalia went on, “Elizabeth liked him for so many years, and he never really committed. Now that they’re divorced, it’s only right he kneels.”
Elizabeth smiled.
She thought, While Natalia may not be the most likable person most of the time, her values regarding relationships are still on point.
