Chapter 643
Lila had half of her eyeliner done when she turned to look at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth nodded at her and complained, “Bila, don’t you think Alexander is ridiculous?”
“What?” Lila didn’t understand the comment.
“When I first married him, it was my birthday, and I asked him to ghopping with me and paint a picture. He was impatient the whole time. Later, the painting hung on the wall, and he couldn’t be bothered to look at it. On the day of our divorce, I threw the painting away. But today…” Elizabeth thought of Alexander’s painting, which wasn’t exactly exquisite, but wasn’t ugly either.
Alexander was like that, didn’t need to learn anything, yet knew a bit of everything.
Lila blinked. “Don’t stop. Keep going, I love hearing this. Did he pickup?” She was excited, loving every bit of it.
Elizabeth shook her head. “He went back to the same place and painted an identical one,” she said.
Lila was a bit surprised. She thought Alexander picking it up would be the most sincere gesture.
But to think he actually went and painted another one, which was more sincere.
Lila questioned, “Isn’t he busy? Isn’t he impatient? Does he have time and patience now?”
Elizabeth shrugged. She looked out the window at the cars on the street, feeling a sense of unease she couldn’t describe.
“You’re not softening, are you?” Lila was extremely worried.
Elizabeth frowned. “How could I?”
“But you look so worried.” Lila said.
Elizabeth immediately shook her head. She just kept thinking about her past self, and felt so foolish when she thought about it.
“Elizabeth, Alexander might pester you for a long time,” Lila said to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth knew that already.
“How can we make him give up?” Lila asked.
Speaking of this, Elizabeth laughed. “My mom said I should pretend I have a boyfriend.”
“Not bad, how about Ivan? I think he’s alright,” Lila said to Elizabeth
Elizabeth clicked her tongue. “Does it have to be someone from Alexander’s circle? Even if it’s fake, I don’t want that.”
But speaking of Ivan, which was indeed not bad.
They were talking when there was a knock on the dressing room door.
Elizabeth and Lila looked out, and the door was opened.
Ms. Parker, someone sent you flowers,” the staff member said.

The assistant was puzzled. Aren’t all the flowers supposed to be placed outside? Put this one outside too.
Staff member said, “This one is different, Mr. Getty said he wants to hand it to you personally.”
The assistant immediately took the flowers, which turned out to be om Mr. Getty.
Elizabeth clicked her tongue. “This isn’t even Kieran’s event, why is sending flowers? Lila, tell me the truth, is he hitting on you?”
She felt something was off!
Lila thought Elizabeth was overthinking. “This mall is owned by the elty Group, I’m having an event here, it’s normal for him to send flowers, right?”
“Really?” Elizabeth didn’t think it was.
Other celebrities had events here before, and Kieran never sent them flowers.
“By the way, my collaboration with the Getty Group will be announced this week. Kieran is hosting a party, will you come with ine? Lila looked at Elizabeth through the mirror.
Elizabeth was going to refuse. But she thought Kieran might not have pure intentions towards Lila, so she agreed, “Got it.”
“But, Alexander might be there,” Lila reminded Elizabeth.
