ALPHA CRAIG: I call a quick Pack meeting of everyone that I brought here, and their new mates. “I am going to make this quick, as I know some of you have probably joined the darts tournament, I also know that some of you know that we have been dealing with a possible conflict. It’s not a possible, it’s a definite, my question to you all is do you want to stay for the dance tomorrow or leave after lunch today?” I put the question to them. There were a few questions, but most wanted to stay for the dance and leave the morning after. So, I made sure that everyone from my Pack was on the same page as far as that was concerned. I sent a text to Alpha Drake. (I have spoken to my Pack members, and members to be, they wish to stay for the dance tomorrow, and we will leave Thursday after breakfast.) (Understood.) He sent back.
DRAKE: I got through the meetings rather quickly, considering that we had some of the answers from the different documents that were sent from the different Pack’s resources. I also reiterated to them to reach out to the smaller packs in their area to make sure that they were aware of what was happening and what to expect. Some of them also offered up a couple of volunteers to be marked so that their packs could stay in the loop with us, as it were, which is also a big help, that way we are only asking for volunteers from just a few others. I also tell Frank to let Burning Ember Pack in on what we found so they could be on the same page as well. We all break for lunch.
JAMES: I am looking around the marquee for Jessie, but I don’t see her, so I link her. *“Hey just wondering where you’re at?” “In the game room watching the matches. Why?” “Because when we shift tonight, I am going in the direction of the lake, not north.” “Don’t want anyone getting to close to your love shack big brother?” “No! I don’t, including you, so the lake got it?” “Yes big brother got it.”* I close the link. And go in search of my mate. “Here you are.” I find her towards the back watching the dart tournament. “Yep, here I am, did you need something love?” “I was just curious if you were going to join the run tonight?” “I can, if you want me to.” “I would love to have you join us; we will be headed in the direction of the lake.” I tell her. “Jessie has already given me shit about not wanting anyone close to our “love shack” I use air quotes around Love Shack. Janica just laughs.
LIAM: Once lunch is over I send out text to our next set of players. I have Lissa check them in when the get to the score table. I have her check ID’s and signatures, just so that we make sure that the person signing in is the same person that signed up, don’t want anyone calling foul. We have John from High Crest Pack and Mike from Dark Moon Pack. John takes the win. Up next is Trever from Golden Sun, and Lisa from Black Cresent. Trever Takes the win. Next up is Lance from Cold Moon, and Steve from Moon Rise. Steve wins that one. Next is Dutch from Golden Sun, and Mary from Mid-Night Sky. Dutch wins hands down. Then our last match of the first round, is Monica from Wolf Lake, and Jim from Ranier Lake. Monica takes the win. And as I said this round is going to be the test of if Jessie can keep her shit together, because I know that Mackie can beat her. I just hope that she doesn’t let Jessie win just keep the peace, Jessie need to be put in her place. I make the announcement that we are starting round 2 of the dart tournament. Up first is Gem, Dark Forest, vs. John Black Waters. Gem wins, next is Jessie and Mackie. I know this is going to be abattel. But Mackie wins. YES!! I can see that Jessie is pissed; I am about to link Dad but she shakes Mackie’s hand and walks over to her friends. Then it’s Marla’s mate Rich from Harvest Moon to take on John from High Crest. Rich wins. Trever is up next going against Steve from Moon Rise. Trever wins, and last up is Dutch against Monica, Dutch wins. We will have this thing done before dinner, which is a good thing because James and Jessie will be shifting at midnight, I am going to be in my bed, asleep, hopefully anyways, I will let that go for the 18+ in the pack, I just want Jessie’s mate to be here so that she can go with him/her whoever it might end up being, so she can leave, I want Kes back. I announce the next round for the tournament. It’s Gem against Mackie for the first round, Mackie wins. Then it’s Rick and Trever, we lose Trever on this one, and Dutch has to wait to see who wins between Mackie and Rick before he can throw again. Well, it comes down to Mackie and Dutch. And Mackie takes it all. Yes! I link Dad *“We need the dart money, Mackie won.” “Come up to the office and I will get it out.”* I close the link. “Dad says to head up to the office and he will get your money.” I tell her. She nods.
DRAKE: “Excuse me gentlemen I have winnings to dole out.” I say to the Alphas that are in the last meeting. They wanted to know, “Who won the darts?” “One of our own, Second born Gamma Mackinzie Dawson.” I tell them. “Congrats.” They tell me as I head to my office from the conference room. I open the door and leave it open so that Mackie, Liam, and alpha apparent Apollo from Dark Forest Pack can enter to witness the money exchange go to the winner of the dart tournament. “Was there any issues?” “Nope not a one.” Liam says as Mackie counts the money. “Thank You Alpha.” She says. I just nod and they leave my office, I notice it’s about an hour or two before dinner, so it’s a good time to wrap things up in the meeting as well. I head back to the conference room. “Is there any other questions?” I ask them. They all look around the room, as do I, all of them seem to be shaking their heads no. “Well then I do believe we are done, everyone has all the information, and we can go from there, once you all return to your packs and make your decision on who will make the best choice for the marking, we will be able to coordinate things as they progress with Stone Claw.” I say and close out the meet with, “There will be a pack run at midnight, After James and Jessie shift for the first time.” I tell them, “I will be making the same announcement at dinner so everyone will know and be on the same page. Until then go enjoy, relax, and have some fun.” I say.
JESSIE: After the dart tournament was over I go make an announcement of my own. Walking out to the marquee and over to the mic. “The pool is open for anyone who wants to go swimming.” I say and then go to my room to grab my suit and change in my room and then head back down to the pool. Several others are already there enjoying the warm water from the sun beating down on it. When I get there, I make the suggestion of having a water volleyball game. Most were open to it, and we got the teams picked. I watched as Dutch Trever and Mackie were all together. If Kes was Trever’s mate he wasn’t showing any signs of it. But Dutch on the other hand couldn’t seem to leave Mackie alone, so that explains a lot, if Dutch is Mackie’s, then with both pairs being best friends, they would all hang out together.
