WYATT: I wake entangled with Lexi, I am so looking forward to next month, then I will feel the tingles from the bond, and I am going to so take my time with her and feel every inch of her and I know that it will be amazing when I take her. But right now, we need to get up and head downstairs, now that Jessie has her mate, who knows what’s going to happen, or when they will leave. I know the prince will be thrilled to get her gone so he can have his mate back. I truly am surprised that Trever has kept it together this long, considering he can’t mark and mater yet as she is underage, but I suppose the same could be said for Dutch, as my sister is underage, but at least he can see her, and touch her, where the prince can’t. “Come love, we need to get up and be about our day.” I say to Lexi. “I suppose, and now with Jessie leaving, things will be able to get back to a new normal.” “Yes, and what that will be, is anybody’s guess, but with Jessie gone, I got to believe that it will be a lot calmer.” I tell her. She nods. We both get up and make our way to the ensuite, we save time and shower together, get dressed and head downstairs for breakfast. Entering the marquee, I look around to see if and where James and Janica are. I see them sitting with Colton Janica’s brother, so I maneuver us in that direction. “May we join you?” I asked as we get to the table. “Sure.” Colton answers. So, we pull up a couple more chairs and join them. The introductions get made around. Then James and I go get plates for both us and the girls, come back and start breakfast.
APOLLO: I enter the marquee, looking around for my sister, and see her with her mate, my mate’s brother and two others I haven’t met yet. But seeing that their table is full I find a table close, so that I can speak to my sister and let her know that we will be leaving shortly after breakfast is over. I need to know where to send her things to, as well. I get in line, grab a plate, and take it to a nearby table to theirs. “Hello, please excuse my interruption but I need to let my sister know that we will be heading out after breakfast.” “Why?” “We have a long drive back Krystal, and I want to get Jessie settled and inducted before we have to deal with everything that will be coming down the pipeline for this impending war, not to mention our own rogue issues.” I tell her. “Yeah, I guess, I was just hoping to get to have a little more time with my big brother.” “It’s not like you won’t ever see me again squirt, plus I need to know where I need to send your things.” I say teasingly to her. “Hey, if you need any help with rogues let us know and we can always send people your way.” James says. “Thanks, I will keep that in mind.” “You can send her things to Dutch Wood.” Her mate says. “Let me introduce you to everyone here.” My sister says. I nod my consent. “James’s mate Janica, is my mate Colton’s sister, and this is Wyatt, he is Gamma here at Blue Cresent, and his mate Lexi.” She introduces us and I shake hands with them all. And then I see my mate and wave her over. I introduce her to my sister and then have her go get in line to go get her food. When she gets back, we take our seats at the table I got and sit and eat. “Do you have a preference on which vehicle you ride or drive in?” I asked Jessie. “I prefer my SUV.” “OK, then I will have one of my men drive your truck and you and I will be in your SUV.” I tell her. “Can I bring my bike?” “If it’s more of a mountain type of bike yes, but if it’s more like a regular 10 speed or something like that it won’t be much good, but you can bring it if you want.” I tell her. I watch as her eyes glaze over. “Done.” She says. “ What’s that?” I ask her. “They will have both my SUV, and my truck brought to the front of the Pack house and my things can get loaded.” She tells me. “Good, and while you finish with that, I will go speak with your father.” I tell her. She nods. After we finish eating, she returns to her room to finish her packing, and I go in search of Alpha Drake.
DRAKE: I had just sat down with my food and Alpha Apollo approaches me. “Please forgive the intrusion Alpha, but I want to let you know that I am going to be taking Jessie now, we will not be staying for the dance, we have a long drive : ahead of us and when we get there, we will still have to get her unpacked and settled, and I know my mother will want to start planning her luna ceremony and start teaching her our Pack history.” “Very well Alpha Apollo, I look forward to getting the invitation for her ceremony. I know my mate will be sad that you can’t stay for the dance, but I understand the need to be on the road.” “If there is anything that Jessie might need, or forgets to pack, please just ship it to us, you have our contact information.” “Will do and Thank you for coming.” “Thank you for hosting and please keep us informed about the issue with Stone Claw. I will also ask for a couple of volunteers when we reach home to come back and participate in the communication experiment.” “Thank you, that will be a great help to us all.” He nods his head and leaves to go and get his people in order and take stock of who he has gained and who he has lost, to ensure that the right paperwork gets to the right Alpha’s, and that he get the correct bio info on all of the new people he has coming in. I link my people and tell them to make sure that everyone is out front to see Jessie off in 15-20 minutes. I close the link and finish my meal.
JESSIE: I link Dedi and Marla and see if they want to help me pack. There comes a knock on my door shortly thereafter and they both come in. “It’s going to be very strange not having you two around.” I say as I am folding my clothes to pack them in the boxes. “Yes, and we will all be in different packs going forward.” Dedi says. “I think that more than anything is going to be the hardest thing, the not knowing anyone but your mate.” Marla adds in. “We will all be fine. But I will miss you.” I tell them. “We will miss you to.” We get to work packing my things for the trip south and east. “We probably won’t be able to make it for your Luna ceremony, but please send pictures of you in your dress.” Marla says. “Yes.” Dedi adds. “I will do my best to make sure that I send them your way. We need to make sure to keep up with each other.” I say. And they nod. With the three of us working on my room we get things sorted and packed, the things that I think I will need, versus the things that I may not need. We get all the boxes packed and I link some of the omegas to help get things downstairs, and loaded into the back of the truck, and the SUV. I then go grab my bike and place it sideways over top of the boxes in the back of the truck, to help hold everything down. I wonder if this is what it feels like in the human world when someone leaves for collage? But we are wolves, this is what we do.
LILLY: I get the pack wide link from Drake, and I let out a sigh of relief, finally Jessie is leaving, now maybe Kes can live in peace. I will definitely be there to see her off. It will be good to get things back to somewhat of a normal function around here with her gone.
DRAKE: I get a link from the front gate; my mother is here. WHAT! Goddess not now, why now. I link them to let her in, and I link both my uncle and my mate “Mother is here.” “Why?” I get from both of them. “I don’t have a clue.” I head to the front of the Pack house as mother and father are getting out of the limo. “Mother, Father, what brings you here?” “Well, you didn’t expect that we would just let our girl go without seeing her off, did you?” Mother says to me. “I could hope.” I say. “DRAKE!” My mother scolds. I shake my head at her.
