I watch her face but there is no hint or sign of regret for her sister, just a stoic reality that Jessie got what she deserves, and after everything I’ve seen and heard about her past, I can’t blame her.

ADRIAN: Considering the fact that grandmother rejected Kes at my swearing in ceremony, I use her terminology for Amanda. “Well, as it just so happens the ELDER GARAND DAME SUTTER is here, right now as we speak she is in the kitchen.” I tell the group. “What?” I hear from Camron “Yes, we were just contemplating whether or not to get breakfast served in the suite or if Kina would be able to make it down for breakfast, when Lilly and Trever showed up, I told Lilly that Kina was not feeling the greatest, so she went to check in on her, and Trever had asked if he could invite his brothers and their mates, I told him I didn’t mind, as I also knew that Alisha was Kina’s friend, so he linked them, Trever and I were in the middle of a conversation, when his brothers came in, and Trent informed me that Amanda was being her demanding entitled self, wanting to see me. And when I did not show up johnny on the spot to her beck and call, she made it a point to come and break the door to our suite to come talk to me, more to probably scold me for not being there to see Jessie off, but still. And just at that same moment Lilly and Kina came out of the bedroom, and Lilly let Amanda have it. Because all three princes were in my suite when she broke the door, she is now under house arrest, she has to work in the kitchen for both lunch and dinner and spend a night in the cell, and if she doesn’t comply then it will be up to the prince’s head of security to do with her as they deem fit.” I retell the events of the morning. Pretty much every one present is smiling trying not to laugh all over again.
KESKA: Oh, wow I guess I did miss a lot, but I also noted in the telling that Kina didn’t eat. “Kina are you hungry?” I asked her. “I am starting to be a little now.” She says. “I will go see if we have any fruit, and I will bring it out for you.” I tell her. “I will come with you.” Mackie says, “we can get refreshments for everyone.” I nod at her. “Kes, let one of the omega’s bring out the refreshments, it’s not a good idea for you to go to the kitchen, especially if Amanda is in there.” Rachel says. “I appreciate the warning and the sentiment behind it, but this is my home, I am not going to hide because she is here, I hid because Jessie was trying to deliberately hurt me, I am not going to hide any more now that she is gone.” I tell the group as a whole. I see some of them nodding. Mackie and I head into the kitchen. “Sarah.” I call out to our cook. “Yes dear” I hear coming from the back storage area where the extra dry goods are kept. I head in that direction. “Is there any fruit, and cheese left from breakfast?” I asked her “Yes dear, but why?” “Well, I just found out that with all the commotion from this morning Kina didn’t eat, although she said that she had an unsettled stomach.” I tell her. “Oh my, we can’t have that, I will make up some tea for her as well to help settle her tummy. The fruit is in the main fridge.” Sarah says. So, Mackie and I head back into the main part of the kitchen to get things set up to take out to the pool. When I feel a sharp pain at the back of my head. “OWW” I semi yell as my head get pulled backwards. “What do you think you’re doing?” Amanda’s condescending voice screeches in my ear. Before I have a chance to answer I hear a loud growl coming from the back door that leads out to the pool area. I can’t turn my head to see who it is, but I can feel Trever. **“If you do not let go of the princess immediately you will be transferred to the castle dungeon without so much as a by your leave!”** I hear Trever say, and I feel his aura slam into us.
AMANDA: “Princess? Her? You must be joking.” **“SHE IS MY MATE! I SAID LET HER GO!”** I feel his aura hit me like a ton of bricks that puts me on my knees. I let go of the little twit. And watch as she goes to soothe him. “Trever, hey, look at me, it’s ok, I wouldn’t care if it were just her, but you have the whole kitchen staff on their knees, love.” She speaks softly to him. Just who is he? He has power that’s for sure. I watch as he looks around then he pulls back his aura.
TREVER: I love that she is getting more confident in herself, but I also don’t trust that her grandmother won’t try something, so I follow them in I just watch them work, I like to watch her, she seem to be at home in the kitchen, no waisted movements. Just like at the cabin when she made us breakfast. Then Amanda came into the kitchen and made a beeline right for her, and grabbed her hair from behind and pulled, it all happened fast, Amanda must have used her wolf’s speed she move so fast. All I could do was, throughout my aura to get her to stop, but she is also strong, stronger than I gave her credit for, but it makes since, she is the matriarch of the current Sutter regime. **“IF YOU EVER TOUCH MY MATE AGAIN, IT WON’T BE THE CELLS FOR YOU, IT WILL BE DEATH. Both my brothers and Adrian come into the kitchen. I have Kes wrapped in my arms, keeping her as far away from Amanda as possible.
