KESKA: “Can we have Nana over for lunch?” I asked mom. “Of course, dear, why not link her and have her come now and
visit with Carson.” “Ok, I will.” I link Nana. *“Nana, Mom would like for you to come and visit with Uncle Carson and then
stay for lunch with us.” “Carson is here?” “Yes Nana, I asked Father to ask him to come for my birthday.” “I will be there in
10 minutes.” “Ok Nana, love you.” “Love you too.”* I close the link “She said she would be here in 10 minutes.” I tell Mom.
CARSON: I link my Beta. *“Calen, I am back, and I am at the pack house, come join us for lunch.” “I would love to, then we need to talk privately.” “Ok, where and when?” “Probably here at my place, in my office, where I know it’s secure.”
“Will do.”* After linking Calen. “Carla dear, I hope you and Sarah don’t mind but I have invited Calen to have lunch with
us.” “No problem, Carson, Keska invited my mother as well, so we will have a reunion of sorts.” She tells me. Lilly is
coming, I have missed her spunk, it will be good to see her again too.

JESSIE: My phone started ringing after lunch on Monday, I checked caller ID and saw that Marla was calling. “Hey what’s
up?” I answered as I looked around and made sure no one was around me. “They are investigating what happened to
Keska.” “So as long as those four idiots stick to the script, I don’t care.” “Have you come up with a way to keep her from
the mating ball?” she ask me. “No not yet, but if you have any ideas or suggestions I’m open to hear them.” “Nothing
short of kidnapping her and holding her somewhere no.” “Well, we might have to do just that.” I say. “Where are you at
right now?” She asked, “We are at Dutch Wood, and we will be leaving here tomorrow after lunch to go to High Crest,
their ceremony is Wednesday evening, and then we will be home Saturday.” “Well, if you work out a plan for the ball let
me know, and anything I or Dedi need to do, we will get it done.” “I will, gotta go bye.” “Bye.” I hang up and go join my
brother, Star, Colton, Wyatt and Janica.
STAR: I had noticed Jessie on her phone, and watched her body language, she was up to something, I linked Wyatt.
*“Take a good look at Jessie, what does her body language say to you?” “That she is up to no good.” “That’s what I
thought as well, do we say something to James?” “We can try, he has been noticing things with her lately that have not
set well with him. I will tell him later. We will just have to keep an eye on her.”* I close the link. And come back to the
conversation of the group.
JANICA: I noticed an exchange between Wyatt and Star, and I followed where they were looking and saw Jessie on her
phone, I also noticed one of my friends not too far away from where she was. *“Macey, move slowly toward the blonde
on her phone, not to close but try to read what she is saying.”* I say to her through the link. “I believe that we should all
learn some other form of communication, It’s not a pups fault if something happens during birth or childhood that
causes trauma to them, and then on top of everything they can’t communicate. We as the ranked wolves need to ensure
that everyone in our packs are taken care of, no matter what the situation.” I say coming back into our conversation.
“Now you are sounding a lot like my cousin Adrian.” James says. “Who sounds like Adrian?” Jessie asks, coming to join
the group. “Me apparently.” I say. “What’s the topic.” She asked. “whether or not to incorporate different ways to
communicate within the pack.” I say. “Ah, yes that is definitely an Adrian thing.” She says. “I had noticed that Alpha
Adrian and your sister Keska were signing when we were there.” I said. “Yes, I guess his gamma has a cousin that is deaf,
and won’t get her wolf for two years yet.” James says. “What happened?” I asked, “Not 100% sure, but something to do
with something that happened when she was born, and completely out of anyone’s control.” James said. “So that makes my point. Why should an innocent pup be a victim more than what they already are by something that was beyond them
to control to begin with.” I say. “We need to make sure that they have a way to communicate, with us and us with them,
or we are no better than the rouges.”
COLTON: “Janica does have a point.” I say. “It would behoove the ranked wolves to incorporate some form of
communication for people and situations like that.” “True, as we never know what others have gone through it could be
the difference between getting a treaty, or business contract signed.” James says. “Usually those people have interpreters,
so why bother?” Jessie says. “Well, I don’t think that I would prefer to leave contract negotiations open to just a onesided affair, and hope that I don’t get screwed.” I say. I noticed that my sister was getting a link, so I kept the focus on me. “Ok I guess there is that.” Jessie concedes. “Excuse me, I will be right back.” Janica gets up and heads into the
kitchen from the back door. “Is it something I can help with?” Jessie asked. “No, just using the restroom, and then I will
bring out more refreshments.” My sister says.
JANICA: I go into the house and head for the restroom, I really did have to use it. But I also wanted to know what Macey
found out. *“What did you read Macey?” “I couldn’t get everything, but this is what I did get.*(four idiots, stick to the
script, any ideas, hear them, might have to do, Dutch Wood, after lunch, High Crest, home Saturday.) * “That’s all I got
Janica, sorry.” “Don’t apologize you did good. Thak you.”* I closed the link. I washed my hands, went to the kitchen,
grabbed a tray put some fresh bottles of water on it along with a pitcher of fresh lemonade and glasses and headed out
the door. “So, what did I miss?” I asked as I set the tray down, and took my seat. “Nothing, we were discussing maybe
going into town and doing the arcade.” My brother says. “sounds like a good idea, we have a few hours to kill before
dinner, it will be fun.” I say.
